Agree. The writing of this show kinda took a hit after Joseph ditched Mustafa part.

What was that part about Natasha attempting suicide? What significance it has to the remainder of the story?! The friend told rubab that she attempted suicide and that rubab should not have humiliated her! Like was he trying to defend a suicide attempt???? I think there should be subtle PSAs in television shows and not disturbing suicide attempts that seem to be accepted as natural!

I like how rubab was shown to be strong with intelligence and what not - but I think they could have kept it that way instead of throwing in her cheap antics of trapping Mustafa with the false theft charge and then getting Adeel arrested on a false charge as well - hadn't Adeel really done enough fraud to get him arrested on the charges that actually applied to him?

As far as Shaggy, I developed a distaste for her from the way she treated Sharjeena and later with her contrasting behavior with Rubab. However her husband controlled her or how much ever she depended on Adeel for money, her moral compass was broken. It was her own decision to treat sharjeena as shit .. so that kinda made me dislike her.

Anyway, I hope the reveal of rubab's framing mustafa on the theft charge happens soon - Adeel knows it so I hope he reveals it. I would also like to see Sharjeena applaud Mustafa's success. I also hope to see Sharjeena get back to work and do equally well.

I definitely think a lot can be shown in a second season - with mustafa and sharjeena being on equal footing in their respective careers. They can begin the season with them being separate and then have their paths cross. But I guess that's asking too much!

Sorry for the rant but I had similar concerns. To every point of yours:

-Fahad's scene was more like dubbing, he wasnt even crying, like I couldn't see a single tear dropping from his eyes, it was just sound echoing, which felt very plastic.

Even his scene with the parents was very lame tbh.

-Uncle se zyada toh main emotional thi. Like dude atleast cry a bit, ask his wellbeing, apologise?!

- At this point mustafa can and should throw that money at their faces if they doubt him again

-I guess shaggy's lifelong repentance would be living under mustafa's roof, imagine itni beizzati krne ke baad usi ke tukdo pr palna...what better than that.

-At some point during Mustafa's crying session I felt that he was punishing himself with that empty house, ki dekh kya faida bada Ghar lene ka jab ghar me baat krne wala hu koi na ho, jab ghar ghar hi na lage.

- I just enjoyed the chikna, hero, shehzada getting uncomfortable. "Kitna embarrassing hoga" (in adeel's voice)

- I have no words for her wake up scene, like they did not even bother Calling a doctor and mustafa just walked out seeing her crying. It felt so bland.

The scene where she said she wants to go to her parents', I liked that scene, it screamed mustafa's inability to even ask her to come back. Even the scene where he was helping her keep her leg on the wheelchair was good.

Another point I want to add is that Sharjeena's mother talked some sense for the first time. I liked that she voiced out that even mustafa suffered the loss, and it was not just her loss.

Also through out the show why did they give sharjeena such bad clothes, while even at his gareebi Mustafa's styling was so perfect smiley24

The only good cloth Jeena wore was the day she got ready to visit Yumna's baby

Are they trying to make us sympathize a cheater and liar who back stabbed a very innocent and loving husband like Salman? Bad writing I say

She has emoted all the phases of Sharjeena so brilliantly. Be it that headstrong opinionated eldest daughter, the vulnerable one in front of Mustafa only, the person who’s slowly started to laugh and live, the hopeless romantic, the lonely depressed pregnant woman and now this broken soul. Every breakdown scene of hers has been acted so beautifully, from her wedding night when she had a panic attack in the bathroom to this one in the hospital.

You are right, Hania deserves so much more appreciation and praises for her portrayal of Sharjeena than she is getting right now.

In yesterday’s episode,Fahad fell flat for me!I didn’t feel his breakdown at all neither his confession,it all looked fake to me?!!He was uttering those touchy dialogues but nothing really touched me!He is a brilliant actor no doubt but he didn’t deliver yesterday smiley22.I still feel my bones chilling in the Sharjeena crying scene and compared to that i felt nothing for Mustafa though he was crying so loudly and all?Is this only me?

i feel really bad for Hania, she never seems to get her deserving praises,i feel it’s more due to her offscreen persona as she is way too chill and funny ,ppl tend to not take her seriously 🤔 .

The absence of tears took away the intensity of the scene. Contrary to him Hania performed exceptionally well when she cried for her child. She made me cry.

No actor is perfect though.

Agreed. The critics are lauding Fahad everywhere which he deserves of course. But I see very few posts lauding Hania. What really annoyed me was when I saw so many posts on last week’s bone chilling crying scene saying that she has overdramatised it, when in reality it was a masterpiece, so raw, so full of emotions. Her cries echoed not just in that empty house, but through my entire body too. All the stories on IG, posts on X are all about Fahad, so few about her. She surely deserves better after giving all her soul to this character.

Fahad is a producer as well and someone very influential in Pak industry,so i get it.Sharjeena’s crying scene was absolute cinema,it traumatised me to the core and deserved a hell lot of appreciation but unfortunately some are calling it overdramatic due to the character Sharjeena actually not bcs Hania went overboard with it.The thing that Sharjeena called everyone and no one picked up was needed to be shown in that very episode actually bfr showing the breakdown then it would have resonated with everyone that’s what i feel. The natural reaction that why isn’t she calling anyone else from the family and rather crying is what irked the audience i feel.If they would have bothered to show the scene bfr breakdown that she called every single one but no one picked up and thus it led to such a breakdown would have been totally understandable and the scene would have hit the rooftop bcs it was acted brilliantly smiley32 .Hania as Sharjeena has been a total package, she has been brilliant throughout and now I can’t wait to see her pulling off a full fledged villain in jo bache hai sang samait lo,she is gonna serve once againsmiley42
