My rant from today’s episode:
- Like I mentioned above, Mustafa’s grieving scene was very short and underwhelming. Sharjeena’s scene last week was so bone chilling, both of them cried in empty homes, but her cries were echoing so hauntingly
- The reunion scene between Mustafa and his parents was meh. They did not once talk about seeking forgiveness from Musjeena after Rubab kicked them out. Shaggy only called him after Ifti got hospitalized and wtf was Ifti’s reaction to seeing Mustafa “tumhe bohot arse baad dekha”, uncle seriously, you were shot zoned out for almost a month with your neck tilted to convince us all that you were missing Mustafa and this was your reaction at seeing him
- Why haven’t they once discussed the theft fiasco. Ribab did not share that with the parents either. Does Shaggy still think that Mustafa did steal the money. I mean no closure on that.
- Shaggy’s repentance was like a kid throwing tantrum and her karma literally landed her from one bunglaw to another, from one rich kid to another. I mean aap paglaa toh nai gaye hain naa writer
- What about the apartment that Sharju so beautifully decorated? Mustafa just vacated it like this!! Is he seriously grovelling or what!!!
- Why do we still get Adeel’s scenes as that pareshan “chikna” qaidi? Is he also going to be redeemed towards the end?
- Sharju’s waking up scene, it’s like elder sibling complaining to mom that the younger one is not waking up and when mother wakes the kid, he does. That’s how they decided that she’s gonna regain consciousness after battling for life.
