It was such a beautifully crafted " pure one sided love story which was destroyed by the same makers , who wrote it.

At least " Ishveer " didn't die never had to go through pregnancy torture 😅 had a " happy ending while they were still young"...

I used to be very active that was the first serial which got me in to " IF"...

Sadly Ghum 2 makers destroyed beyond repain with Reeva ( who.looked like real bechari")

Ishva had more chemistry than Ishvi .

Bosales were both " toxic and criminal "

Where as as "Saraj " really looks cute , lovely and funny "....

We all know how Ghum creatives are infamous for " Toxicity" but unlike season 1 , the actors are through professionals ...SA also was same .I never watched YHM was focused on Matsh , Ghum 1 was my first Star 🌟 serial.

For now the episodes back to light hearted but it will soon change

Actually, I watched MATSH during lockdown. I loved Radhika is Angrezi Medium and made it a point to watch all of her previous projects. That girl has evolved so much!

People will kill me for saying this but had they not made a cringe Devar-Bhabhi story, even Patrelekha was a real bichari. That's how it was in Kusum Dola and the actress was fantastic.

Back in 2014, I watched YHM only and then vowed to never watch an Ekta serial after they degraded it. But one thing is true no one presents a love story as beautifully as Ekta and co. Too bad they are sadists to torture their leads to no end.

Going by YHM, Raman's family members were far better than Raman himself even though they took their turns in becoming evil. I hope they follow that trend here because I'm not interested in Chavan or Bhosale like toxic family members.

By the way, can any regular (who actually pays attention to the side characters) or YHM fans clarify what is Ashka's relation with Aman? They have quite a few scenes and she seems to care for him (I really liked her today when she said she can see that he is not happy with this engagement), and he shoots down her words in a way it looks personal. Are they cousins? Siblings? Ex bffs?

And,regarding Ishvi in Ghum 2, again I felt the same, you have just written what was there my mind since long, ISHVI weren't as good as they were hyped, but in this Social media world anything gets hyped & trended.. That's why didn't feel anything when ISHVI ended ,I felt highly disconnected to this pair becz it was a student- teacher relation, I highly condemn ITV tarnishing a sacred & purest bond of teacher-student they shared, & it's unacceptable to show a bond as sacred as that in a romantic light....it was very good on the part of Ghum makers to end the student-teacher pairing. It was distasteful to watch, no matter my Favourite actor was there in that role, Shakti will get better roles but I'll never accept fictional shows playing with GURU-SHISHYA RELATION. It's good it ended , becz it looked so immoral

Regarding Ghum 3, I also have mixed feelings, becz of it being remake of Ekta'show but if they're able to handle it well then it's good. Amd, Hitesh-Bhavika have clicked well & complement each other much better than the former pair, there's no controversial arc in Savi-Rajat's relation. I'm liking this pair

I too had similar complaints while watching YHM, there was several problematic things in that. But no doubt, YHM was a cult-classic & very comical & brilliant show, its execution & casting was very superior. Its comic timing was best. But it was high on negativity & failed to tone down ML's toxicity & unbearable rudeness. ML's shrewd & belittling behaviour towards Ishita was outrageous for the most part pf show . I equally hate ML's Toxicity & FL's Mahaanta....
I highly despised FL Ishita being a JAGATMATA, unbearable, also YHM being too lenient & giving leeway to Romi & ultimately Mihika- Romi married , it was all distasteful. That's why I cannot connect myself to YHM or ever like it thereafter

I highly dread SAVI BEING A JAGATMAATA, I hate Jagatmata, they're unbearable for my taste. I switch instantly from such Jagatmaata kind of shows. I hope Savi never becomes a Jagatmata, otherwise, I have to CALL IT A QUIT. Hope she goes back to her original self, soon

Ghum definitely did many things right, it has enhanced & handled many aspects better than YHM, in many fronts... Like toning down Ghum's ML to a greater extent & making him less vitriolic than YHM's. Rajat is bittter but not as much as OG...They have also showed his humane & softer & emotional side wrt his child Sai since start. They haven't made Rajat as unbearable, cold, rude & temparamental as Raman in the name of anger issues & trauma, People nowadays get too much leeway in the name of ANGER ISSUES & TRAUMA

And, Ghum has been always snail-paced in showing progression in lead's story, so we have no complaints as we have our minds prepared... Also, because Ghum's pacing right now is not that bad. They're currently jumbling up YHM's track, not showing it sequentially, but it's coming out good becz they don'twant fast progression b/w leads like YHM as Savi had a different & more traumatic past than Ishita....

So, Savi will take longer time to grasp & open up, as she has tightly closed the walls of her heart becz she has suffered huge losses, immensely since childhood. Her wounds are deeper & brutal

Shakthi and Radhika created magic ...the way SA portrayed Ranveer was astonishing .

But them Ektha destroyed every thing still they had happy ending without " Bacha party " 🥳

Savi will take long time to develop feeling or understand love she suffered a lot ...The most unfortunate " characterization " with so many deaths around her .

She witnessed all her loved ones dying is such horrible means ..I mean why makers has make it too tragic...Any human in her place would go " mad"...The way she broke down seeing her Aaji , Ajuba , badi aaji and Vinu dada lifeless was simply too much to watch luckily they kept Harini alive ...

Now even though not IAS officer she has parents who love her a little angel who adores her .

Savi can't be all that lovely , lovely all blushing FL because she has been through a lot of trauma ....There so many wounds , Bavika portraying it rightly by being a bit rigid .

Rajat has mellowed down he is a bit cool nowt that is good .

Bad writing will do that to anyone. If the story isn't right, actors can't do anything.

Here Savi-Rajat have a lot of problems but the story supports it because they show it at every point that Rajat and Ashka were such misfits.

In YHM, Shagun and Mihir (Ashika and Aman) were siblings. Shagun's family was very poor and Raman wholeheartedly supported them. So when Shagun left Raman, Mihir broke his ties with Shagun as well as his mother because she supported her.

It is much later when Ishita and Mihika found out about it. And they along with Raman encouraged Mihir to accept Shagun again because irrespective of her equation with Raman, Shagun deeply loved and cared for Mihir.

Ouch! That hurt. But yes, they could have gone the other way. Even Virat had more logical reasons to marry Sai than why Ishan married Savi.

I know it sounds horrible but I actually liked it when Reeva beat him with chappal.

Harini was sleeping in coma with full on style only to wake up make her wish then slept back

Now Harini has a good husband and she is ready to fight any time unlike " crying domestic abuse victim"...

I miss the days during Gen 2 when we’d troll this show daily

I could never connect to IshVi especially due to the teacher student relationship. Reeva was boring a completely joke after Didi. Eeshaaan was annoying Badi Savi was Mahaan and Barbaric Bhosale’s were competely pagal. Horini still remains on my hitlist though

As boring as this current season is I will admit that the characters are more sane and less toxic

Ishita was sad but at least Subbu was honest with her. She had moved on from him and wished for him to get all the things he desired. She had a lovely family and a job that she loved.

Savi can never be as chirpy as her.

Also, I feel even Sai is quite mature here. Like she notices things and forms opinions. She's not just a blind Pari Mumma Bhakt. She was even pissed at Kiaan when he insulted Rajat.

I like this kiddo more.
