The ordinary people are quite naive and that definitely won't think someone with that much money and power is gonna waste his time on trying to patao a girl to get his brother out of jail (along with other ulterior motives). Even saman shah don't seem to doubt his son's intentions . Toh mehru aur uski family kya cheeze hai. According to them if he wants to get his brother out of jail he will simply keep giving threads like a real villain.

I actually wonder if his plan intially was to marry her? Even next episode, he is trying to manofy Amal. I think he was planning to make her fall in love, get her to withdraw case and ditch her but in the process falls madly, deeply in love with her. I mean he is definitely attracted to her just that it has not transitioned to full blown love yet and realisation hasnt struck him yet.

Shah does not seem to be having any grand outline other than trying to get on Mehru's side so that she might be open to persuasion and feel obliged to forgive Zain if he and her have some sort of friendship. My guess is that it is others like Urooj, Rafay and Amal who will read into it and create a situation.

Shah likely got orders from the political party boss that if mother and son want to keep their tickets, then they need to put Zain in jail for show in front of the public. Since Saman didn't agree, he talked to Shah who went ahead.

He thinks it's that easy? . Even if mehru genuinely falls for him there is no way she is gonna take back the case . He seems to be way too confident for a guy with skinny jeans.

I don't think he himself knows how much he is into her. He used to think about her way before the accident happened. With 2-3 interactions itself he couldn't keep her out his mind and even shamelessly lied to Amal saying he is thinking about her when he was thinking about mehru. He might be going after her thinking he wants to tame her but he just wants her. He clearly ain't gonna like a tamed mehru. That's not what attracts him towards her. It's her roasting him

Finally got around to seeing the episodes. So Shah was not lying when he said he admires Mehru because she is so brave. He is downright bored with Amal and finds her annoying.

He is not built for the typical rich housewife who does nothing but shop and then expects him to cater to her so that she can post lovey dovey pics on social media. He does not care to play those dating romantic overtures at all.

Instead, he wants teeth in a relationship where a woman is independent but also pushes him back and challenges him. Mehru does that which is why he is intrigued even if he thinks it is all part of this elaborate scheme to get Zain out.

Found it interesting that Zain does have brains and immediately saw it as a political ploy from Shaw to win brownie points with the public as well as their party. Liked when Saman finally lost her patience and told her spoiled son that he deserves to rot in jail -- though it has a/c, wifi and all other amenities; so hardly jail here.

Also Mehru and her family in some ways are quite innocent that they actually think Shaw might be good. They cannot imagine people plotting and playing games. Then again, Mehru is only used to Urooj and her mom type level manipulation. Not Shaw and Saman's political games.

But I find this really strange. Even during the NGO-cheque thing Mehru taunted Shah that 'as politician you got your photo op but the children haven't got the money' which shows she's well aware about the ways of politicians so I find it really strange not once did she think that the supposed niceness could be a ploy for the elections(which are supposed to be knocking at the door).

Instead she's just finding his behaviour a bit strange and her sister is acting as if they found a real life Mr.Darcy. Her sister will be the first person to push her into Shah's love trap

Politicians showing off fake charity for publicity is not that big deal. Even a lot of celebs does that. She can even think him putting his brother in the jail and giving ivs to media as a part of future elections. But why would she think he is gonna put time and effort on her for elections? And he isn't doing any of that to show people.

Her sister is a fanatic. She was going gaga over rafey.when she got to know he proposed mehru and now is going gaga over shahnawaz for showing softness towards mehru. I am sure she can be a kdrama writer with her imaginations

Or maybe the writer will surprise all of us and Shah has no plan regarding Mehru and is spending time with her because she intrigues him and will eventually fall for her and will probably get Zain out once the elections are done without even needing Mehru's help.(The party leader did say they'll get Zain out eventually)

Maybe not directly use her for elections but clearly think that something must be up his sleeve. I mean a day back he locked her in the cabin threatening to make her disappear and then changed suddenly and started making so much effort on her... surely something must be up his sleeve. She should at least have this question once.

Yeah for sure, he was definitely into her , way before the accident, she made him lose control and for a man like him who likes to control everything, him being out of sorts was a very unusual and dangerous feeling. He actually doesn't like women who go gaga over him, he is attracted to Mehru because she clearly gives no quarter to him. Honestly until now I haven't seen any signs of Mehru encouraging him, yeah she got a ride with him but we can put that to circumstances.

Anyone else felt that scene with the elder sister and that useless brother in law was not needed in that episode?It didn't add anything to the episode
