It's an action film. That's as commercial as you can get. This is not a niche film and the way some people try to justify the film's box office failure by claiming it's niche is ridiculous. You can't claim Alia is the #1 heroine and the only actress who can make female-driven films work and then state that this dismal opening is a success. If she had the bankability her fandom claims, this wouldn't have failed.

Alia is not cut out for action films, that's the only issue here.

Action film with no seeti maar dialogues or jaw breaking, logic defying action sequences, no gaali galoch, skimpy outfits or romance angle is considered commercial film since when? It's similar to Kill and even Kill got great reviews both India and International but failed at box office.

Imo, it should have been ott release, it doesn't have cinematic grandeur

It's not really a copy as the dynamic is different with the exchanged roles...also some loopholes of the US remake (of the French original) got filled. Imo, Savi is better than the US version.
