Even is yesterday's promo Sitara didn't say anything wrong. It was salar who added that she's thinking he'll be jealous about her success. In episode they showed she was clearly upset.

Also what's with him not wanting her to join his father's orphanage. If they have shown it to be shady and salar has known it all along then doesn't he become guilty by association? Any other business chalo he can overlook, but how can you ignore/ overlook if it's to do with orphanage?

Now again in the promo they are showing Sitara asking tahir. She was looking for salar only to bail out Zohaib.

Mujhe toh Salar ka samajh nahi aa raha. He's even having issue with Sitara as Tahir Sikander's bahu?

Also ppl r like salar took a job for Sitara and here Sitara is now taking money from tahir? Obviously she's working for him toh she'll get paid na. And it was only after seeing her press conference that tahir asked her to be the sportsperson. He also ensured she was up to the job to offer her one. I guess he always liked the way she would reply to whatever was said to her. Salar even told her that. So tahir was aware of her potential and giving correct replies when needed.

Salar's problem with Tahir is that he knows that Tahir doesn't allow him to be himself. Tahir is manipulating, he can use ppl for his own benfit, even if they were his own children. I think Salar is worried and concerned about Sitara. He doesn't want her to suffer because of Tahir's hidden agendas.

mujhe lgta h writer ne flow m salar ki family ka character sketch likh toh dia starting m , but aage jake sab bhool gyi ....

i kept waiting for Tahir to do something , but usne kia hi nhi abhi tak ...

writer ne kuch bhi likha hua h ... 4-5 shows ko dekh ke yh story likh di aur khichdi bna di ...

From whatever they have shown, Tahir has always been impressed by Sitara and the way she replies and takes charge of situations and gets things done. Even if we assume Tahir has ulterior motives, but like priyanka said, salar has been living off his father and using his father's name and wealth.
