looks awful but also looks like something you would watch as a guilty pleasure. also who made this trailer? they gave away the entire story, all the cameos and appearances have been revealed!! it looks like they threw everything in hoping something will get the audience to the theatre. have a feeling this is going to struggle against BB3.

This is rohit shettys cinema, the characters are over the top and and kind of caricutarush, that's how many of the characters are and that's what makes his signature style.

Simmba has always been like this, loud, cartoonish, clownish, even when you watch the first simmba movie you'll know that this is the characters personality, so ranveer is just playing how the character is supposed to be.

And deepikas character seems to have her own signature style aswell, the characters are not serious, they are larger than life and supposed to be massy, so if people are expecting Oscar level gripping cinema here, that's not what you are gonna get, it's massy, over the top, comedic, you are gonna get action that is not going to be realistic, but that's how rohits movies have always been.

And rohit isn't expecting you to put an intellectual hat on to watch his films, he just wants the audience to be entertained, that's why many of his films have done well with the same style

Oscar level gripping cinema ? Who expected that from shetty? 🤣…or even remotely expected it to be intellectual ?

Even a decent entertainer is a tall order for him in his current form (especially after the debacle of cirkus)

Ppl ain’t complaining abt the characters not being serious ..they are complaining abt them not being funny …the basic requirement of a comedy is that it’s funny …Basic requirement of a mass movie is the actors have charisma and conviction that is attractive, not repulsive or boredom inducing …dialogues that make u whistle not cringe …

“fun mass commercial” cinema is not this nonsense
