Poddar family clearly mentions they want to do wedding grandly which they did. Styling being bad doesn't make it simple wedding.

Oh I second that...I can't imagine armaan being M's son....his cowardice and all can be attributed to his upbringing...

And his talent as a lawyer can be from his father who is also a famous lawyer in some other city..

Give them some backstory telling M was raising armaan for Shivani and he became his zimmedari....

Bring Shivani&his father then show lawyer tiff btw 2 families and ar being in btw....

I literally can't imagine V crying again saying M,A everyone choose Shivani Mera koi hai nahi and all.......I bet it won't be any less than today's feat...

In Maa first husband was never ml to begin with, it was pre-decided that entry of ml will be later when Maa would be a divorcee. That family is still there because her children are also there and she spent 20+ years in that house, and they are main antagonist so it's different.

Actually, no. Vanraj was the ML and Rajan wanted Anupama and Vanraj to reunite post the cheating reveal and abuse but his writers convinced him that Anupama needs to go ahead with a divorce and so they did. Gaurav was supposed to be a cameo, he was only brought in initially for a 3 month run which later became what it is now, due to popularity and numbers. The show had three protagonists at every given point and it was Anupama, Vanraj and Anuj.

But from what I heard the Bengali version also had anuj as ml so don't know much.....RS trying to make V ml was different as it was coz of actor but they had to show similarities from the show they copied.

Rajan himself has admitted that he wanted Vanraj and Anupama to get back together but the writers intervened and its public knowledge that Gaurav was never supposed to last as long as he did. The show deviated from Shreemoyee about 2.5 years ago and since then, it has been one colossal mess.
