That I know. Udant Martand started by Jugal Kishore Sharma in 1826.

It was weekly publication (published on Tuesday) started by Pt. Jugal Kishore on May 30,1826.
May 30 is Marked as Hindi Journalism Day .

When we started History forum I thought of working towards increasing the history knowledge since our schools teach very limited history

You are right. Since my time also history was limited to what is normally known. All these are totally new information
Of course Google helps but still the question make u think kya hoga answer
