Ab is shown too shocked to process anything, so her leaving with MG in that situation looks ok and not illogical. Also Ar is given dialogues first on how it was a matter to be 1st discussed with Ab in private, and for them as a couple to take a call and how it was was insensitive of Vidya to raise it publicly and even arguing with Kv. I was afraid they will show him completely mute and shocked for MG to step in.
