Don't you think they are making fun of Virat's character? Why he can't face truth, reality and become hyper? Why they are making him a fugitive person? Why he's so weak that he always escape when he feels he can't handle the situation? He said that he felt himself responsible if any family member get hurt and he can't protect his family, his family isn't safe with him blah blah blah... But when any difficult situation come why he escape without any courage to face difficulties,to stand with his family,to protect them? Does he think if he escape all will be ok? This is how makers destroy Virat's character urf Arjit's hard work. As Virat will go missing, maybe we will not see AJ anytime soon and even it too can happen that he will exit this serial asap and new actor will come to replace him after terrible accident?? I don't know Arjit really exit or not but if they will do what I predict then I will be happy if actually Arjit will leave the serial

Will say they are consistent with his character. He runs away - did that multiple times. even in the backstory. Contrast that with Amruta, whom we actually want to run away and she doesnt . He wanted Ammu to run away too - the annulment papers. Not expecting Arjit to leave soon... but agar new actor ko lana hai, better go for a new character - they've messed Virat and the Ahujas a bit too much to continue with them.

Unpopular opinion here, I feel there should be nothing wrong in repeating a jodi/couple as long as the story and characters are fresh. The advantage with a repeating jodi is that the actors are already accustomed to each other and hence, there is a set comfort/chemistry already available. With the right story and characters in place, even a repeat jodi won't feel boring. Case in point - SRK and Kajol. Someone cited this as an example here and I feel it's pretty apt. This jodi is successful because they already have a comfort level and organic chemistry developed over all these years. But they don't feel boring or repetitive because the characters they have played are different in different movies. The SRK and Kajol of Baazigar are different than K2H2 or K3G. But the problem with itv is they follow a set template for their content. The popular tropes are rich, brat guy vs poor, sanskaari gal, clash of class/ ideologies, enemy to friends to lovers to marriage to third wheel. To this recipe, add a generous dose of family drama - saas, bahu and the entire extended kin with loads of sacrifice by the FL, plenty of tears, lots of kitchen wars. So, in summary, repeating a jodi isn't the problem. The problem lies in our set content in itv. As long as the content doesn't make sense and the writing is sub par, even the best actors cannot save the show. Sooner the PH realize this and invest on a great writing team, the better it is for them.

This! I always repeated it as I'm a foreigner the way of prod on ITV needs to change and exactly why I again supported a show like RvR. Also, the content as you highlighted is quite the same poor girl vs. Rich guy This needs to stop. I know people relate to a mid-class girl easily, but it doesn't stop the writer from making that girl climb to success and then fall in love in the process.

I won't lie to you guys, when I saw the KMTMG promo, I thought it was a rivalry-to-love story, office romance type but nope!

I think we are all on the same page ITV SHOULD CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! But afsoos, we have a long way to go.

Missing and in depression mode we all know that accident followed by mem loss hoga ya phir he will only stay alone somewhere with daru. However, this is KMTMG and we all know how bad they are so likely and as predicted mem loss hone wala hai. Can we give them the benefit of the doubt (0.01 % it won't happen itna hi barosa hai)?

Does seem like mem loss may come up.

Since I've been trying to connect the dots around mela eps and what's going on now, it seems like they changed their plans because mem loss would be too early. And it was, will give that to them. But... its too early now too.

Bad move if they go for it.

I had so much hope with KMTMG. The way they had started the show, I felt this could be the "turning point" show. What a heart break! 💔 😢

The problem even with Srijit was many people complained that Purab and Pragya were doing a show.. they keep getting recognised by their previous characters which aren’t good for their current/new show.

The disha parma were in pyar ka dard and ishqbaaz and again on BALH2 which Mukhta was creator so she casted hit jodi

Acting wise he is not on same level as sriti for me.His expression of mujhe sab kuch pata hain but actually mein kuch nahin pata hain wala But then again its producer wish after all it their money.Hope next hum sriti ko Big boss mein na dekhe ushke dost ushne wahan bhi lejaye new experience ke liye

I understand examples that were given of casting couples repeated or not. We must ask ourselves how many of these are real life friends for 10 years. Agreed Sriti Arjit casting unlikely but is there any other 2 actors that can make it a success?

No, not dumb at all. As a great fan of Srijit, I understand that you want to see them together, but if you put yourself in the shoes of a casting director who wants to make a show, he would first see those actors who won’t cause any problems for his show going forward and that would include them being cast previously, if their previous characters would threaten to overshadow their current shows then no one would like to proceed forward.

I don’t know about others, let’s see what future holds in store for them.

When their mock shoot out, I had hoped that it will be an office related drama where she will be his pa but they have hate relation and this will be a very unique, romantic, emotional, entertaining. Arjit will play fun loving guy and Sriti will play strict character. But alas!!!!!! They made it hilarious, villains priority, sideline leads, saas bahu, kitchen drama. If Arjit or Sriti any of them will be replaced then why I will even waste my time to see the serial where I after a long time start to watch a tv serial just because of them? Arjit always said Virat is his best character but alas they destroy his character in such a way that I will say Virat is his worst character ever as he never played such a dumb character in his previous serials. I loved his mv with Sanaya and I think he will do very good in Ott platform. Same goes with Sriti too. I will say Sriti's unfortunately worst character is Amruta ( sorry if anyone feel offended). Anyway I wish both of them all the best to get best projects. This serial deserves to be off air because I don't think they will be able to control the damage they have done already.

It more like zee should change its saas bahu nataunki kaun 6.30 se night 11pm tak second wife or lover ko tolerate karenga Although sony brought new contain but becz of its reality show focus on dance and singing show which they dragged for so many month ruined them too.

I gave up on KMTMG within 15days it was around 90ep something stick till fake marriage just becz of fans here
