ishq hua would have cost them a pretty penny too but it's not doing well in terms of trp and views are so mid. that's a big loss they have to cover elsewhere.

Who knows he might delay the release. He is business man, he needs a better plan to recover his loss.

Even if Ishq hua is doing bad, isn't it right time for them to start promotions, advertisements of their much anticipated show? They started hyping ishq hua way back in june n smd is their only upcoming star studded show ( the only one which is ready to hit screen). I think this would be the right time to start promotions n trailer release. It will build curiosity n interest in viewers n they can come back in trp game.
I sometimes wonder whether this krq guy tries to control every aspects of the show..

That’s part of the game though right? They have to anticipate some losses and projects that underperform. Seems like they’re making money on views with JN anyway. Also I would think this would mean more reason to market other projects that are coming out soon. I’m not keeping up with their other upcoming shows or teasers. I don't think SMD will get any special treatment like Ishq Hua. Even Jaan Nisar didn't and that had 2 big stars (who are mass faves) and was a big IP (Deewangi). But I expect Geo to at least follow their standard 3-week promo period during which they drop teasers and OST. Kaddu has already moved onto Humraaz as his next pet project.
