Nur Jehan has not exactly been reticent about her hatred for daughters so it was kind of puzzling to belabour that point through Hunain- does Hunain not know his mother

All Nur Jehan seems to do these days is run after her bahu's - no wonder her work is suffering.

I really like the actors in this show especially Saba Hameed but the story is getting a bit tedious.

- first off ..the director Mussadiq makes an appearance as the new guy in Sumbul’s lol in the promo for today ..He was in Alif too right as an actor..he is quite decent looking frankly. Compared to chingu Mingus we have on screen lol.

- I’m actually liking Hunaid’s transition too..There are terrible tyrant mother in laws like Noor Jahan and men like Hunaid too who worship their mother because she gone through lots of hardships and it blinds them totally when the mother makes wrong doings..because they are living under the burden of their mother’s sacrifices..it’s not uncommon in Indian households to be honest..

- what shocks me though is that Noor Jahan is a working woman..I can understand if she herself always lived under the tyranny of her mother in law and passed it down to her Bahus..I mean this is setting a very wrong example..I always see PTV making villains out of working women..be it Sara in Humsafar..or MJ in Mein or NJ now in NJ. Like Hariyali Bua makes more sense and seems progressive ..it’s a bit similar to Jaya B in Rocky aur Rani..NJ and Jaya ..very similar

- it’s really really heartbreaking to see her pathetic thinking about a girl child. Damn you NJ. Also the way she threw those divorce papers on NB’s face yuck yuck yuck yuck.

- LOVE LOVE SUMBUL. the way she gave back to NJ. Also Maha lol. They are all breaking NJ bit by bit…and she is making more and more mistakes and sinking deeper into her own hell hole.

- it’s not easy for someone with this kind of regressive thinking to change in short term.they become too dheet, too rigid. It’s a really fascinating insight into matriarch/ patriarch NJ. It’s a bit like Dure shahwar…

I want Saba Hameed to take all awards for this year…in the best actress category..And Alina and Hajra to win supporting actress. Outstanding performances from these three.
