Why sadistic for Arshi to suffer? She chose her suffering herself. If a man doesn’t love her, but she stays it’s her decision. Ani requests her but he doesn’t threaten her or act like he will do suicide if she leaves.

She knew that earlier or later J may come back to their life for Appu, Chotton wedding, they are both famous celebrities after dance show, they may again become competitors.
Even Arshi can be given a role in a movie.

And, she saw how Ani still cares for J in Mumbai hotel, still she chose to be with Ani. She will suffer but from her own choice.

And, she harmed Jhanak by trying to get her married to Tejas twice as she was plotting with her mother and evil Boses.
Also, she was aware of Bipasha and Shrishti giving J drugs in bhang. J almost died that time.

How come people forgot about her evilness?

She looked always evil to me as she never stops evil to happen but supports it and feels happier if J is humiliated, sick, taken by Tejas, called names and what not. Evil in disguise that’s what Arshi is.

Just because Ani does what he does why people support Arshi, she is not innocent. She has been evil enough for long till now, but makers white wash her.

And evil Arshi by the way put gossips about J the same as Shrishti. Also, Shrishti tried to kill J in the aag drama, but Arshi didn’t say anything about it. She ignored it. If she could just get rid of J somehow, she would be the happiest, as she is jealous of J getting things in life that Arshi will never get from Ani: his heart and his true love, she willingly stays with him knowing he will never love her the way he loves J, he will never look at her the way he looks at J, he will never give his soul to her whatever she does, he is only body around her like robot just performing his selfless act to please her

If she was genuinely helping J, I would believe her, but she always humiliates and belittles J due to J’s being weak and vulnerable due to no mom and dad
