And you are right. He is not the ML. He was never one. But he was the FL's husband. Yeh rishta has never been about ML and FL relation. It was about all kinds of relation. This ML FL love came from Gen 2 which started this forceful need to keep the leads together and people expected it to continue in gen 3 as well.

You believe that the ML and FL should have been together. I also believe that they should have, but since DKP himself said they were meant to be, not in the capacity of lovers or husband and wife. That's what gen 3 should have been. Gen 3 was about passion vs stability. And there is no generalised answer in that choice Its what works best for an individual that matters.

The inspiration for this gen's story is itself a disgusting one. The whole getting married to one brother to be closer to another. And the promise to your elder/younger bro's wife that he ll not love anyone else. Yes, In some of the adaptations, Ruhi's character is Armaan's character's bhabhi since rohit is the elder one.

You have no idea how disgusting i had felt after watching ghum show. The cheapness is very hard to watch.

And all the three actors are so bad. You ll love both the ruhi's acting after seeing that.

But Armaan has a backstory which makes us understand his actions. While in other adaptations it did not. And gen 4 feels like armaan's character development more than Abhiras. So people are fond of the amazing redemption that he had done.

And the degradation in characters every gen. Jab tak dete hai khush ho jate hai. . Tomorrow everyone are sure that there ll be rohit's death, aR-AB separation, the disgusting surrogacy track. No one wants that because they feel it should be different. But none of us have any hope. Lets enjoy it till we can

Honestly with what face was Ruhi taunting Abhira about money? Her own family is close to bankruptcy and have no money left after she spent all the remaining of it on her wedding that ended up being called off at the altar.
