In 2024, (thanks to Haalim and Hypno I know my stats now smiley36), IM crossed TRP with ads with 5 12+ ratings...with 3 of them being 14.5, 14.7 and 14.8

Technically KMKT is mostly between 10-12 ratings with ad, it might surpass 12 this week.

smiley37 The number rizz game goes above my head. I will just enjoy.

This is the only current show I am watching along with Kaffara. I am so loving it. One good thing is that it comes twice a week thankfully 😭 and what I love the most about it that it's not giving me serious vibes even if the scenes are serious ones. I find each and every character very realistic. I am even liking Adeel and Rubab lol 😂 they are funny in their own way. Mustafa and Sharjeena are so good together. Hania and Fahad are killing it together.

Sharjeena is far from being anything like Gopi Bahu. Gopi Bahu used to endure all the nonsense and mistreatment thrown at her, while Sharjeena is different—she gets annoyed by the arrogant and authoritative behavior that Adeel and his wife display, as well as the way the mother treats the children. Regarding her initial silence towards Adeel, it was justified. As long as Adeel wasn't intruding into her personal life, there was no reason for her to express annoyance or displeasure just because he was in the house, as Mustafa rightly pointed out. Plus, since she has to live in that house and Adeel and Rubab will inevitably be part of her life, developing hatred or bitterness would only make living there more difficult. By not engaging in unnecessary confrontations, she was likely trying to avoid creating a hostile environment.

However, when Adeel crossed the line by intruding into her and Mustafa’s personal life and belittling her husband, Sharjeena stood her ground and responded appropriately. That's exactly how anyone would act in such a situation. At this point, Sharjeena seems to be the only rational character in the story.

The one thing that bothered me in the episode was how Mustafa only heard Adeel’s part about them being a "mismatched pair" and didn’t wait to listen to Sharjeena’s side of the conversation. He just assumed that Sharjeena was going along with things out of some sense of obligation, while the poor girl had no idea about the misconceptions he was forming.

I am not familiar with Gopi Bahu. Have only heard about her 😂 But I think Virgo meant in terms of perfection maybe. Which I get.

I agree that Sharjeena is rational. But at the same time she doesn’t seem realistic for me because no way a girl can retain sanity after constantly hearing that annoying MIL ke snubs and attitude, and also managing A to Z housework, studies as well a full time job. She doesn’t even complain 😂 She’s been overly domesticated as the perfect bahu in every single way. While her husband has a long way to go. I find this disparity a bit problematic. For me Sharjeena has still given more to this relationship than Mustafa has. And has taken a lot more on than him. They’re a team, sure, but I don’t think equals hain abhi.

This is all coming from a place of being a bit tired of puraane writers stuck in the same era of what a perfect woman should be. And anything short of that? Her marriage can’t possibly work. She must excel in everything. This isn’t the best messaging. Especially how it all started of Sharjeena not thinking herself deserving of any level of commitment from Mustafa. She called it his “ehsaan” which is again, regressive portrayal. He said yes to the Nikkah as much as she did. To absolve him of all responsibility while taking on so much on her own (as well as all the taunts), this is typical qurbaani behavior we have seen countless times in shows. And which is glorified. And now because it’s all worked out and her husband is “fixed” it has been further cemented.

I am enjoying the relationship but some things still do rub me the wrong way. It’s simply the premise that has led to this unfortunately

Adeel rubab and most side characters are entertaining. Even rubabs annoying friend with her constant jabs lol.

Sharjeena is a fictional character every viewer has different interpretation of her role so I Will write what I think about these characters as this forum is open for all the members. No one can dictate others form writing their opinions.

Yeah bullying is kind of below the belt. Woh bhi aik fictional character pe.

I think all of us here are really enjoying the show and immensely. So is majority of audience. If people want to discuss some things and others disagree, there are options of simply ignoring or even blocking now. This shouldn’t be happening anymore with the new feature

For the most part she has been really sensible about handling Mustafa and her situation. I love how both of them don’t involve any outsider in their maamlaat and handle their differences one on one. Communication is also private. Even if some things annoy them individually.
