Yes he was in pressure. The first attempt was in itself a foul, but after the record breaking throw, he was only willing to somehow cross it while continuously throwing fouls.

Even the one correct throw seems more like a fluke now.

I think had the second throw come before the first one even that would have been record breaking. As Tejaswin said Nadeem doesn't have great technique but he has Power.

I think the issue was, excluding Olympics people tend to ignore other games. Like the hype of Cricket World Cup is missing in Thomas cup, Hokey World Cup etc.
