Axelsen won the first set of the gold medal match. 21-11.
As an ardent badminton lover and a state level player myself , this loss has hit me personally.. Though I wouldn't blame lakshya i still wish luck could have been in our favour.. Luck matters the most in sports.. Hardwork toh sab karthe hai equally for years.. What happens in that moment, in that minute decides everything.. Anyway Well done lakshya..

Against him this time
Only Laksya was able to score 20 in a set
Ouch Ouch Ouch
But super proud at the same time
- Manu Bhaker finished 4th.
- Arjun Babuta finished 4th.
- Dhiraj & Ankita finished 4th.
- Anant Jeet & Maheshwari finished 4th.
- Lakshya Sen finished 4th.
Manu would be the Flag bearer for India in the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
