Punky nodded, crouching on the sofa, arms wrapped around her knees and head bent into the cocoon

“Do you want me to make you home remedy?”

“Umm.. no… I already got a lot of it” she muttered

“Did u make it?”

“Umm… no.. I meant laying in bed all day

Ajji was very pleasant, she didn’t want to irritate Punky afterall she had to talk about Ninad

She scrolled through her phone glancing at Punky through side eye

“You want to see? Photo?” she quizzed

“Just see no”Ajji sidled up by her and started the album toward the end

Ajji carefully handed her the phone

“Did u recognize, Urmi mausee?” Ajji paused in a group photo of women chattering and he was seated in a corner sofa talking to a grandma

She scrolled wildly and brought up one where Mausee and Ninad were the only ones

Ajji held the phone so she couldn’t scroll

Ajji smacked her

She laughed out loud

“He is my friend… whose house I went to… right? Her cousin’s niece”

Punky bend down over the phone and tapped her eyes on the screen

“And I liked him a lot… HE DROPPED ME HOME”

“Wowww” Punky clapped

“He is single” Ajji muttered getting up haughty

Her heart skipped abeat

Ajji left the phone on a table and went to the kitchen to get more jalebi

Punky walked up to the phone and casually unlocked it… and stared at the guy, scrolled and looked at 4 more pictures

“I don’t want to get married Ajji” she hollered

“Don’t… I don’t either” Ajji expressed solidarity

“Good… lets buy a cat and puppy” Punky walked to the kitchen

They were no longer enemies

They hugged

Ajji returned to the living room and unlocked her phone and found a different picture from the album showing
