On the second Friday of its release, Bad Newzraked in ₹2.15 crore. The movie registered a growth in business on the following day - second Saturday by collecting ₹3.25 crore. As per early estimates proved by Sacnilk, the film will end its 2-week run at ₹3.32 crore which it earned on Sunday. The film's total stands at ₹51.57 crore, as per the trade tracking site.

I think it will flop or at best settle for "Below Average" which is just a fancier word for flop. 2nd weekend shows more than 65% drop. It has reached only 51cr after the 2nd weekend and collections would fully drop from today onwards..lifetime would hardly be around 60 and the budget is 80cr

Bad Newz has had a fair weekend of 9 crore nett in its second weekend to take its overall total to over 51.50 crore nett. The drop in the second weekend is over 65% which is on the higher side but as the film got in an opening weekend it remains above water for this film. If the first weekend had been lower than this sort of drop in second weekend becomes an issue.
