Hi all, new here. Started watching the show and had liked this drama right off the bat but I cannot connect the Mustafa in the latest episode with the Mustafa in Episode 2.

In Episode 2, he's sympathizing with Sharjeena, telling her he's her friend and calling out Adeel for breaking off the marriage abruptly. In the latest episode, in the restaurant, he's all excited and babbling about wanting to meet his new bhabhi. Did he not think how Sharjeena would be feeling and the awkwardness around the whole situation? He's coming across as emotionally stunted now.

He doesn't need to act like a husband but can be the friend he said he'd be and treat her with some empathy. Farhat Ishtiaq wrote Humsafar and there Ashar/Khirad were forced to marry but Ashar was sensitive with Khirad even in the beginning when he thought they were utterly mismatched.

On the plus side, am glad Sharjeena told Bushra's character that tarbiyat is the job of a parent, not a wife.

Exactly. As others have noted here too, I was expecting Mustafa to be uncomfortable, awkward and confused but not so badtameez, boorish and insensitive. The E2 Mustafa we saw showed concern and care for Sharjeena, assured her that he will always be her friend, and was sympathetic to what she was going through. It would have made more sense that he tried to be more accommodating in the beginning when she pointed stuff out to him but found it difficult to stick to it. Like first two times Sharjeena could ask him to put his wet towel away, he would be annoyed but still put it away out of politeness but third time this happens he could have that outburst ke main to aisa hi hoon and if you want us to co-exist you have to learn to deal with the real me. If they had just shown this story development it would have made more sense that compromising is also difficult for him and he has had an outburst which made him rude. To go from courteous considerate and gentlemanly Mustafa in E2 to how he talked to her on suhaag raat and afterwards just seemed out of cktr. I feel they are jumping some imp cktr and story developments that should be there to go to the next part of the story. Like they showed no convo between them after Mustafa saying yes to shaadi and the suhaag raat itself.

Fahad is such a miscast,he doesn’t look like a 24 year old,i am actually missing my Billu here.I am yet to warm up to Mustafa,i wish the story was about age difference,it would have clicked more.I am loving Hania’s acting that’s it,she is shining bright in kmkt and now i am only watching for her.I am not happy with how the story is turning out,i have expected better from Farhat!Sharjeena needs to give a shut up call to Mustafa,why is the guy behaving like he has been forced,he was given a choice!And he doesn’t even understand the situation,behaving like a man child !And why was he being so casual about seeing his brother and then talking about Rubab!I mean,he is sitting infront of Sharjeena come on,at least have a little bit understanding of the situation?And then the way he didn’t give a damn when his mom was taunting Sharjeena,I mean what the heck!What a gone case the male lead is.This is the first time i am disliking Farhat’s male lead to the core

Also how inhumane it is to give cold biriyani to your new bride!I mean how long does it take to microwave!
