yeah ..and what’s at stake ..the reputation of a vile woman like Kaveri …but she is their grandmother .:.who throws words like sautela and Ganda khoon around at the drop of a hat…but these two brothers, one of them has already called the other sautela and an outsider, are going to come together to save their cousin but more importantly, a vile woman’s honour..since that is what is at stake .:as an audience, we’re supposed to forget that Ruhi touched her brother-in-law inappropriately multiple times and applaud her slapping her husband-in-name because it is a woman’s honour at stake after all .:.and now a vile grandmother’s honour …every single episode is a standalone ..forget everything shown before and watch it as such …you got to keep repeating this to yourself before watching an episode ..only then can you applaud and appreciate these tear-jerking rishtas 😡
I am really not sure what the maker's narrative is with respect to Ruhi, but online audience is definitely not buying it as can be seen from vast majority of posts here or in X. Audience is calling her out. If they don't invest in her self realization or proper redemption ( and these Rohit taunts are not it), then I think the character importance is only to create issues for the leads.. Nothing more.

but i really need humiliation for kaveri, even if its by random teenagers. Abhimaan ka kya hain, even if they win, kaveri unko sunana bandh thodi karegi
