The excessive stalking and obsession have given a lot of idols depression and have affected their entire personality as well. It's one of the major reason for most of the idol suicides. Some of the stories are straight up psycho level. I only follow one k-pop group exo and in that itself I have enough stories to tell. At the peak they had to move 5-6 houses in a year because of their personal informations being leaked and stalker fans getting into their flats and stealing their stuff including their undergarments and selling it online. Both the fans and haters are on extreme level. One member almost got kidnapped and there are videos of another running for his life at the airport with a bunch of crazies running after him. The funniest will be someone recording their personal conversations and then calling up the leader of the group to know if she will get in trouble if she releases it. The leader replied to talk to his lawyer in court đ¤Ł. Then one fan got multiple plastic surgeries to look like the ideal type of a member and kept following everywhere. The guy's entire mood changes when he lays his eyes on her. Their main motive is to be noticed by the idols and be relevant in their life in one way or another.
There is another group who had a major car accident with one member ending up in coma for months because fans kept following then. One idol got letter written in period blood 𤢠and some crazy one entered an idol's hotel room or house and live streamed him sleeping and took pictures of him sleeping while laying beside him on bed. Imagine the creepiness level. One can literally shoot a creepy movie with all the stories.
