They could have included music as an art he loves and connect it to Meerab's dance in their wedding reception then on Marium's Walima, he could have sang a song for Meerab to apologize, displaying his love for music and showing how he has accomodated himself according to the free spirit of Meerab
Photography was such a random insertion, if he was taking his own pictures, I would still consider it 😂

But yes, Murtasim's dialogue to Maa Begum did seem like he was indicating towards his past relationships otherwise a man who is into wildlife photography wouldn't hunt and if he had time for hunting, he could take pictures too

If an actor acts well I tend to forget the logic & solely focus on the acting part
I also thought he was talking about some girl. He had such passion in his voice.
