Ab has clearly stated her insecurities. It is now on Ar to prioritise what is more important for him - dealing with his guilt wrt Ruhi or make Ab feel secure, and the only option is to keep Ruhi at distance. If after Ruhi says she can't move on, then it is even in her best interest.

Ab' s behaviour is how vast majority would behave - men or women. Being comfortable with your partners ex being around will work only in those scenarios where there is 100 percent surety that all concerned parties have moved on. And even then there should be a conscious effort not to make the partner insecure.
