Honestly i agree that the movie had no hype..atleast in North it capitalized and made money because of good content and positive WOM…because Prabhas’s credibility took a big hit after Adipurush ..which is reflected in how people did not even watch the trailer in big numbers for Kalki and were cautious about going for it. If Adipurush did not exist..the opening for Kalki would have been bigger in Hindi circuits IMO. Also I feel marketing and promotion was so subdued.
