And, why would he chose BW over Pak dramas, it's simple yaar. BW would give him more exposure, more money n fame. Why won't he do it when he's getting a chance? Infact who would leave such chance? I don't think anyone would leave it.

I actually don't understand this A, B, C thing with respect to actors.

Obviously he should work in Bollywood as its big Industry same Bollywood actors work in Hollywood. but as a Pakistani he should respect his Industry as well after all Bollywood gave him work because of Humsafar and ZGH and both were pak dramas. Nobody should look down its own Industry. Like mahira, Saba, Sajal, Mawara all did Bollywood movies but they didn't think themselves bigger than the Industry.

Yes but I haven't seen any Bollywood actor who think oh i am a bigger star now i don't need to work in Bollywood.

Fawad khan is superstar in Pakistan but is he an A-lister in BW? Vaani played female lead opposite Ranbir, Ranveer, Hrithik in big budget films. Other than that he played second lead in a mid budget film and a side role in a big commercial film. I get Vaani is not an A-lister but how does Fawad's BW filmography qualify him as a much bigger star than Vaani in BW? Ranbir, Ranveer, Hrithik - who are all BW A-listers - unke fans ne Vaani ko le kar itna vavela nahi machaya hoga jo Fawad fans macha rahe hain about Vaani being a B-list actress.

Being an A-list in your home industry is different. When you go to another industry, you are not A-list there but have to prove yourself and work your way up. Priyanka was A-list in BW but she is not in HW. Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Selma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Antonio Banderas were all big stars in their own industries but when they moved to HW, it took them years to break into the big leagues.

I am Pakistani and not a Vaani fan but even I am annoyed at ppl saying that Vaanii being called B-list/C-grade/not at same level as Fawad.

We need to appreciate the 2 contrasting looks in GM for Zarnab. The simple girl next door look for home and the hot journalist she transforms into for television. Yumna, and I would add Saba Qamar, are 2 actresses who will never give a crap about camera and still manage to look effortlessly beautiful without any makeup. I think GM is really helping us see how well Yumna carries both looks because they’re so different. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Plus her acting yar. Matlab… her performances are so riveting keh you’re not even focused on anything else. So powerful.

Critics and audience have unanimously been praising all performances in GM because roles are meaty and complex and there’s ample opportunity for actors to display their range and with such caliber ke actors, they are making the most of it. Must have been super challenging and exciting
