You have one track where the ML is behaving like an insensitive cad with no monologue even to show why he is behaving that way..

Then You have the PL shown to intentionally plan and plot and being petty like in the scene with Kv or in the kitchen scene with absolutely no impact to final outcome.. (Kv could have been shown to doing it by her own, anyway her character is being turned so bad).. They make audience absolutely hate the PL and then expect to accept when they decide it is time to show her in good light with no redeeming scenes in between..

Now we have ML redemption and they are contrasting with FL being impulsive, highly impractical and not sensible to understand open manipulation with mostly unnecessary dialogue baazi.

How about more balanced and nuanced character arcs across tracks..

Exactly. They literally made Armaan a scapegoat just to WW her.

Which is double edged because that means Armaan will rise from it with a clean slate. Redeemed.
