The question is are the actors empowered enough to make such suggestions in the creative department? I am not sure of the dynamics of a production house.

Anyone who doesn't say the expected thing is likely deemed a hater / troll. And beyond a point actors cant influence much. Only thing they can do is do their part well and be happy that they did it well. [There is a famous animation director Miyazaki who said 'Animators are like donkeys. You say do this... they do this. you say do that.. they do that.' (paraphrased)... same applies to the actors. Only thing they can control is how well they do their part.]

But that hug felt mechanical, with no genuine emotion. None of the Amvira hugs so far have truly connected.

Actually their all hugs are either accidental or out of concern (from Virat's side) and today's hug was just show off hug. Till now no emotionally hug happen between them.
