I mean his character is not usual cliche character, so I don't get it why is he doing all this first of all?

And he giving reasons like Jhanak not accepting marriage will not going well with his character, why he is not confessing what he has in his mind, how is it depends on what Jhanak is accepting or not?

And after all this he is stating such things like J is in love with someone in front of everyone, without discussing her with even for once..
