What I was trying to say is the earlier FLs had family to support her, to back her and that too rich family, but here abhira neither is rich nor has family. Anyway, the society norms or general surrounding is different now if we compare them with the starting of show. Currently, every body in middle class family has to earn to meet end needs and people now a days study more and holds more than 1 degree, as abhira doesn't have generation wealth hence showing her career oriented is natural so more people can connect with her. As I said they have done different things with this generation FL compared to her ancestors, so maybe they put career box in her part now😉

I understand your point. Abhira’s mother was doing 3 well paid jobs with family of only 2 still failed to do minimum saving like 5,000 rs in her lifetime. She died before her daughter’s college graduation and also never informed her daughter about any relations so her daughter is having financial struggles with nobody to call her own.

And aj kal sirf middle class chodo, real life mai affluent family ki girls bhi working rehti he hai. Kajol and Kareena Kapoor ko he dekh lo, affluent family se hai, 12 standard tak bhi education nahi li hai but fir bhi independent working women hai so chahe middle class ho ya affluent , working rehna hai nahi it’s a choice but when you have nobody to call your own it’s compulsory.

I don't remember whether the previous FLs were shown so much career oriented or working outside family business as all were princesses. Here case is different, as this generation they have done many things to FL which was not done with previous generations' FLs, I really hope they will show abhira very successful in her professional life and payback poddar prince each penny with interest. the other Gen heroines didn’t have professional careers from the beginning of the Gen. Gen 1 fl helped the husband in the business.. Gen 2 fl was a dancer and then housewife..and then she did something else..Gen 3 fl studied music,,but it was not a successful career..anyway she became a lawyer after her second marriage and she had this career as a lawyer until her death..but she knew the importance of being a graduate and having a professional career..that’s why abhira is serious about her career..and she’s finished her degree..she just needs to do time as an intern lawyer..then she can practice as an independent lawyer. This Gen the heroine has a professional career from the beginning,.so I’m,sure we will see her work as a lawyer. The wedding planning job was just temporary as Sanjay was sabotaging her job interviews .and it was a good paying job..so she took it.

janak is presently the most frequent bride on itv..last month she was a bride and this month again..and a few months ago she was also a bride 😂😂 I think,she’s already been a bride 4 times..3 times to tejas and 1 time to Anirudh 😂😂

it’s fine,,they’re still married and in 9 months there will be little maahira ..😂..but lol..😂..even later in the show ..abhira doesn’t need to,have a son,as boy children serve no,purpose in rishta land,. Abhira rather have 2 daughters…😂

Abhira's mumma was a music therapist she has worked in hospitals too. Just that she does not need that money as she is from a rich family as you said. So, the career of FL changes in Rishta. AB may not be a lawyer in the future, and they may turn her into someone with some other profession that suits the narrative of Gen 5. As they can not repeat the profession of FL as it looks repetitive. Or they can bring the narrative that AB and AR were killed by a criminal so the daughter wants to be a police to save the country from criminals. That's one more way of bringing gen5.

So whatever happens at the end of gen 4 will pave a way for gen 5 story.
