Do you guys think it's a good idea by Kaddu to put up SMD against Fahad's new drama?

It is Fahad's comeback into TV dramas after 10 years + it's a Farhat Ishtiaq script. So the anticipation and buzz is going to be sky high.

What would you advise Kaddu:

A. Go ahead and put up SMD against Fahad's new show

B. Release SMD in Behadd's timeslot (W-Th) after it ends

C. Release SMD in JN's timeslot (F,Sat,Sun) after it ends

It won't matter if the show is good. I also have full faith in Badar to ruin any script.

Kadwani won’t have a choice he needs to air SMD as soon as possible because he has big upcoming dramas lined up and won’t be airing at the same time as SMD I.e Humraaz with Ayeza & Feroze and TB 2. Plus Haseebs dramas aren’t trp based but critically acclaimed like JSA and so it doesn’t matter if Badar’s project will be airing at the same time because knowing Badar it won’t be critically acclaimed and ratings won’t last long if audiences don’t find interest in the drama.

This is a Farhat Ishtiaq script. Her projects are usually both critically acclaimed and commercially successful. She wrote Humsafar, YKS, Bin Roye, Udaari, Diyar e Dil. The upcoming Netflix one with Fawad is her script too. This was a script Bilal was super excited to shoot (but he was dropped later). So on the writing front, this is gonna be good. Plus this being Fahad's comeback, Badar wouldn't dare to mess it up. Just don't want this to be a repeat of Alif which got overshadowed completely by MPTH.

I get where you’re coming from. Either way it’ll air this year after Eid and wrap before December as Geo airs dramas twice a week. Does ARY air only once a week? I think MPHT and Mein did. If so then Badar’s drama will most likely continue on to next year.

ary shows air twice a week now as well. this will be twice a week too i think.
