There is a lot of difference between trp fetched pre covid vs post covid as during covid when people stopped shooting many people shifted to OTT apps. so people watched ott shows and realized ott is serving better than ITV.

So we can not compare trp of gen 2 with gen 3 or gen 4. As gen 3 and gen 4 has competition form rival shows + OTT apps. Which was not the case for gen 2 and gen 1 pre covid as they had major competition only from rival channel and not from OTT as it was not popular.

@bold Sirat's entry was in 2020 during post covid days whereas Kartik-Naira were there in 2019 when COVID-19 began. Anupama also had 4+ TRP during post-COVID days, Imlie, Ghum, Sath Nibanaya Sathiya had 3+ for months post covid days but yes yrkkh TRP was good even after Sirat's introduction, Ranveer-Sirat's marriage in comparison to rival shows but it couldn't be sustained or dropped after Sirat's husband Ranveer's death dropped further after leap and Kartik-Sirat marriage.

Kartik-Sirat journey as husband-wife was for 2 months long only (mid-August, September, mid-October) in yrrkh (episode-wise), the sole purpose was to introduce their daughter as PL.

In gen 4 yrkkh is still among Top 3-4 most-watched ITV shows overall.

@red Yes, we cannot compare Gen 1, 2, 3, 4 TRP as TRP of Gen 1 is always better among all generations.
