The makers have been destroying Angad consistently and methodically thru out the show.. uska toh kya hi kahein...

But what they have done to Sahiba is the WORST now...after the leap they have destroyed Sahiba the MOST... she is destroyed beyond recognition... they have destroyed the very essence of her... first they made her a liar who was faking hubby wife relationship with a stranger in front of a whole town for 6 years and then they made her this foolish bechari aurat who is not even able to protect her child from a bloody pervert... kahaan hamari sherni Sahiba thi jo bade bade villians ko akeli handle karthi thi aur kahaan yeh Diljith ke hathon ki katputhli bebas good for nothing Sahiba hai jo apna sexual abuse tak bhi nahi rok paa rahi hai...yeh toh pahale wali Sahiba ki parchai tak nahi rahi...

Story has derailed so badly. On top of that time pass, DNA test karke how will they make Akir like Angad.

Obviously no one will relate, Sahiba got a few minutes with kid after ages and she spend it in worshipping Angad who ditched her during pregnancy , actually stole child with his mumma and ran away in middle of the night. Instead of all this she should have just told Akir what Diljeet was doing. Nothing but time pass.

Couldn't they have done DNA test plotting before playing waiter and dancing, why Angad needed to pick up a gun for all this stupidity. Headless chicken.

Now we know even if Akir asks why Angad wasn't there Sahiba will just say it was all her fault.

Garry annoys the hell out of me. Talking about how kids life is more important when he risked the kid and caused all of this.

I will miss all the Brar criminals when this show ends. Nowhere do we find such shamelessness after committing endless crimes.

Sahiba has stopped questioning them since a year ago. Here she still thinks Diljeet is the villain. Unlike with Angad where we are gaslit into believing grown man needs more love after committing crimes.

Nothing new happened. She used to worship them. And she still worships them. Because if we use sense ever since Daarji jail track you could see Angad would abuse her till she is dead and then bring her alive to continue his abuse, she would never matter to him over his blood and she still proceeded to sleep with him.

If Sahiba as much as questions Angad why he didn't care for her in a flippant way people talk about how her ego is taking over. And it is the one who has killed her spirit fully.

When Angad harassed her while drunk and was abusing her when Daarji was in jail, she said he is the victim. Sahiba's respect did not matter. Sahiba's hands are actually tied. Unlike with Angad where she voluntarily glorified his crimes and abuse.

Should she slap him in the show currently? Yes. He might get a slap and few broken bones.

Issue with show is writers genuinely believe an absent biological father is bigger than the mother who delivered the child.

They bring Sahiba to Brar mansion and show her the room so she can feel guilty she did not camp outside Brar mansion in a critical pregnancy till Angad decided to look at her.

Have we seen Angad once try to think how Sahiba would have felt being all alone? Discussing how she nearly died delivering the child he is claiming years later. Know a bit about her struggle.

He kept blaming her for killing his child but once he has child he is blaming her for keeping child away, without any introspection. You would think he would at least respect the mother of his child.

Sahiba put up with harassment for her child but who gets sympathy for back to back episodes? Angad for serving drinks.

When your thought process degrades women and mothers so much and uses them to glorify absent abusive fathers, it is good that your show will die a slow death.

In Rishta, Abhimanyu actually tried to know about her labor pains and delivery process by talking to the doctors. He was guilty for ditching her when she needed him even if he actually searched for her.

SAME about Manbeer. She does not even show any remorse about her lies and horrendous behavior. Yet she is the one who is to be obeyed and accepted

I felt Inder's death badly. I stopped watching the show after that. Simran being orphaned yet again really hit me hard. And can get Angad's anger at Sahiba, even though his rejection of her was not Simran angle.

But if you think back, Angad started his rejection of Sahiba from end of Rumi track. And the rejection was quickly climbing the escalation ladder leading to divorce drama, slap etc etc

Sahiba, when she discovered she was still pregnant, was not only carrying the burden of guilt from Inder's death, but all the horrors visited upon her by brars including murder attempt, mental asylum thing, Angad's abuse etc

How can one reasonably expect such a woman to repeatedly chase Angad till he accepts her and her pregnancy?

Because both him and his mother are not different at all. They both use and throw people, they share the exact same morals. His mom raised him, so he is like this.

Introspection happens when you believe you are wrong. He did not even give any apology for hitting her. The best he said was he did not think Veer was capable of this mistake. Sir that is your blood, have you considered he might be exactly like you.

Funnily Sahiba is weak for putting up with harassment under coercion but Angad is valid to slap a woman who exposed his brother's harassment, how Angad getting drunk and harassing a woman doesn't make him a criminal, how victim blaming is justified.

There is a reason why we request to not glamorize such things, show consequences or call it out. Because audience is impressionable. Show ko show ki tarah dekho bolte hai then why is one man glorified for abuse but another vilified. Take a good looking guy and make him commit endless acts of domestic violence in fiction, large section of audience will defend it.
