Actually, the topic was quite bold.. The show was about the girl Ahana falling in love with her late father's friend ..She was in her 20s n he was in 60s..After marriage,she faces lots of problems due to generation gap n also his children who were more or less of her age also doesn't help in this matter...
Later it was supposed to be a love angle between her and this old dude's son. In literal sense ,she is his mom bcoz of her marriage with his father..
Starplus got scared of the backlash and abruptly shut it down..
In Turkish version, apparently it had a sad ending with the girl commiting suicide..
Uhh.. well they could have changed it a bit. Maybe could have shown her to be falling in love with any younger man or maybe son's friend.
It looks good from the shot they have on the OST. Is it Anil Kapoor's brother Sanjay Kapoor?

that’s why Indian TV is so behind. They can never move on from their saas bahu soaps. All problems aside, even PTV is far ahead.

Problem with ITV shows is that they don't like to show FLs falling out of love or making mistakes..FLs are supposed to be perfect , gharelu and sanakari

I loved left right left (military based drama) and though it aired on sab TV still it did very well with majority new cast and even love story was good...very few such dramas get TRP
Many stories they start with different plot but end being saas bahu...with OTT at least now makers can experiment

Yes. I really didn't like the way they treated shows like Dehleez, POW, Namkaran etc.. Namkaran was later turned into saas bahu saga
LRL was awesome 
Old ITV shows were fantastic...They had this weekly once format like PTV. They were refreshing. But right now, ITV is in it's worst phase.. All good actors are in their late 30s n they don't get good scripts..Those who are doing shows right now are not worth mentioning 😕
I think this has flipped completely in PTV lately. Meerab, MJ/Ayra, Hareem from 22 qadam, Shibra, Zarnab, Emaan in Radd, etc. Women who take no nonsense and stand up for themselves. Yes there are still the Bechari roles but at least in prime time slots the female leads are good. Still issues with writing them - writers tend to make them badtameez while making them independent n what not but a step in the right direction, at least.
Not falling out of love though can be true. Shibra didn’t let go of Shahmeer even for a second after finding out his truth lol. Unrealistically so. Kuch tou drama kerti thori der ke liye 🤦🏻♀️🤷♀️
But overall I do see an effort to make FL unconventional, flawed and more real.
