Tbh, they are a very brand-oriented team and there are 5-6 people they would want to keep from that pov.

For me

Cricket has always been Dhoni

I still remember that 2010 Dharmashala game

Jismein Dhoni hit a six jiske baarein mein Harsha always talks about.

That was my first ever IPL game I watches poora as I had chutti and was allowed to wake at night.

I was not even 10 at that time.

It feels weird that we may not be able to watch him again.

Ohh man..

Can't talk more

Always knew it and kind of wanted this to happen. For multiple reasons. Dhoni was never about personal glory and achievements. This season CSK made it look like peak RCB who only cared about kohli and Buzz. Whereas in RCB, thier only goal was to win anyhow. Kohli's batting and thier fielding showed it.

And Dhoni and fairytale doesn't go together. He should have retired last year but streched it for fans and therefore got an exit like this.

Anyways this RCB win will matter only if he neutralizes the Lobby damage in WT20 and wins it.

Only performance won't do it. Need to win it now.

Faf plays only leagues now. So he can continue for long .

It was a gossip that

RCB wanted a Captain and wanted Faf

&

CSK never wanted a overseas Captain.

Also with faf not having a lot of yrs in hand.

They released him.

I definitely really like Faf, he is one of my Favs

But Conway is smiley27

I hope he comes back next season.

If he would have been here this season Rutu ke liye easy hota, we would have got better start and Dhoni too could have played longer as Conway is a wk.

True, but age is no longer on his side. He may not be willing to continue, especially after this achievement of bringing RCB into the top 4

he will play another 2-3 years I feel!

Rutu is good but he has to be more upfront and calculative and less casual maybe.

Else he is a nice player...

In RR match they could have scored a bit faster for better run rate etc....think ahead instead of in the moment.

Talk more to bowlers, have more energy on the field.

I agree w/ bold. Knowing when to quit is an art, which MSD missed, like Saurav Ganguly b4 him. The latter should have quit after the 2003 WC, & MSD should have quit last year, after winning the trophy. One guy who got it right was Sachin Tendulkar, who announced his overall retirement minutes after MI won the 🏆 - forgetting which year it was
