I have a superstition that whenever two popular actors are paired or fan favorites are paired with each other they don't have any chemistry. Like one actor should be known and other should be little unknown tabhi baat banta hai. ya they should be photogenic enough or know how to do intense acting where even eye locks can convey the sentiments to audience

But then Ekta has given hit jodis with known actors where as Udne ki aashaa is failing.

Drashti Dhami and Sanaya Irani didn't ever get the kind of shows they started with...

At least Drashti got Madhubala.. But after Mile Jab Hum Tum, and IPK, the best Sanaya got was Rangrasiya...

Even Surbhi Chadna ka Naagin5 was short and sweet stint.. But nothing came close to IB. The sherdil shergill too I tried.. but nope...

Really really manifesting that our gal Addy.. gets good things.. Imlie3 was too good to be true.. but still 🤞

I remember how I used to despise the Maya wala track.. but looking back now, it was actually one of the most compelling tracks for Pranbir. It brought about some real progress in their relationship

give and take in couple scenes is the most important which generate chemistry.

Naagin was an amazing show. Sharbhi killed it with their chemistry. Saishi ke baad if I think a pair has potential to explode the screens it's Sharbhi. Sadly they won't work together again. Naagin ended so soon ki I didn't even get enough.

I enjoyed Sherdil Shergil. There was no chemistry there but it was a light hearted comedy show which later got ruined.

IB was class apart. Gul khud shayad kabhi IB jaise shows na likh paye.

Drashti did get insane popularity with DMG, Geet and MB, she went n won JDJ too but then fizzled. Sanaya could never replicate her IPK fame which is why I want her to do whatever she gets. Shelf life for actresses is short anyway.

Recent examples - Rupali and Gurav both experienced. Imlie season 2. Wahan to same jodi repeat hua tha.

Jodi repeat happened with Nakuul and Disha as well. But show was more famous online. No show on Sony gets ratings. Yeh alag baat hain.
