Loving Surya isn't a compromise for Imlie.. Yes, he wasn't her first love.. and yes, she would have been happy with Agastya, had they spent a lifetime together... But they didn't.. and That's that...

Surya has proved time and again, that he shall be going beyond his each and every means.. to be there for Imlie... The amount of selfless love he has shown, I haven't seen in any MLs in recent times in ITV.. (Maybe some like Naitik or Abhinav from Legacy were like that... but I digress..)

Saying that Surya is a compromise, will be belittling his efforts so far.. Someone said earlier, I think it was Ren.. That after killing off Auggy, if the makers want the audience to like Surya, his character has to be impeccable.. There's absolutely zero gunjaaish for him to make any mistakes.. and I must say.. they understood the assignment well.. Surya is written really well.. Not even a chip in his armour..

So No, he is not a compromise.. He is a true partner and a Yin to Imlie's Yang..

Ek toh aaj Agastya phir dikh gaya uska alag hi Dard. I don't know how Sai brings so much vulnerability and pain in Agastya eyes.

Second emptiness wali feeling aa rahi hai Knowing aaj koi shoot nahi hoga. Apart from episodes discussion, yeh BTS, offscreen bytes, new track theories yeh sab ki baatein karne mein bhi kitna interesting lagta tha which won't be possible now. I have to slowly relearn to adapt to my lifestyle before which was before IMLIE S3.

Sai really does lip syncing well and as you said the soft vocals of 90s singers suit him so much. kabhi socha nahi tha the guy who played a rude businessman in "henna " can pull off a character( Agastya and surya) sings and dance so well to express his love.

Aaj kal musical kam bante hai ITV mein but I do wish he gets to do a romantic musical show.

Maine toh soch liya hai I will not corelate both love stories . Agastya imlie love story started from first episode and ended with temple wedding and Surya imlie from their marriage to the last episode we will be getting.

Creatives ne hame cheat kiya toh isme hamari kya galti.

I will always console myself with the fact that creatives were indeed thinking to make Surya as Agastya only because they gave him those back gashes which anyone could was the result of him hitting the tree branches when he fell from cliff.
