Second - DMG did have basketball matches, maybe I dreamt up cricket. Lol. I watched DMG till the second batch of interns came about. Mainly watched it for Armaan-Riddhima, so when Armaan left, so did I. The only show I’ve ever rooted for a new guy is Balika Vadhu. So Siddhant was a huge no for me. The only episode I watched after that was Riddhima ko lagta hai Armaan par sirf uska haq hai in the locker room and the last episode when Riddhima sings to him. Star had a lot of basketball once upon a time - MJHT, Remix, Kyun Hota Hai Pyar (I think), IPKKND etc etc.

Third - Liked the episode. Still don’t like Manoj but it seems like Janki has forgiven him finally. So maybe we’ll get less of the maafi maafi maafi ratta from father and daughter.

Rahul’s gf being so modern is very cliche. I really don’t want to see a Cocktail type situation where Janki or Rahul chooses Mauli because she is sanskari bharatiya naari. Us jeans toting, skirt wearing modern gals are not that bad! I hope they don’t show her as a jealous or vampish woman. I’d like a more Lavanya (from IPK) type role who backs out herself when she realises Arnav loves Khushi. Not because she is a bechari churidar wearing heroine but because she is loving, slightly daft and compliments him.

I know right 'Rajmata' janki maa is all about parampara pratistha and anushasan, all she wants a sanskari baahu who will wear traditional clothes and all, she will only assume as she is also from london(I guess)she probably will not have any respect for the traditional culture.Yes and I agree with you and I think as time goes on janki maa will definitely realise that Mauli is compatible and both are right for each other.

They haven’t really shown Janki’s views on love and love marriages. Manisha’s case doesn’t count because her age factors in. Manoj never told anyone and ran away before confessing.

Rahul and Rohit are UK born and bred, so it will be interesting seeing the dynamics between modern Western and conservative Indian views. I do think she will ask Rahul to marry the girl - I mean you make your partner meet your extended family, it does mean you are serious. Oonch neech - don’t know. She will be austere and conservative and may like Mauli better as a person, but modern gf versus cousin’s ex wife in a joint family - I think she will (as any normal matriarch would) - prefer the former option. MauRa bring a complication which most of the family (but not us viewers 😂) will find uncomfortable. Rishtey aur ulajh jaayenge which she does not want.

Completely agreed see if the gf will be modern and jealous,she will probably rebel to janki maa's traditional culture and all and also might warn Mauli to stay away from Rahul and all those things jealous girlfriends do.Rahul is smart so he will soon realise that her gf has no respect for his dadi bro,mauli and will definitely breakup with her in later stage.But if she is sanskari modern girlfriend then janki maa probably have no problem with her and just as you mentioned will prefer her as opposed to Mauli because of obvious reasons.

Well there is a BTS where Mauli is crying so yeah one crying session is gonna be there for sure. Yup Sabha samapt Devi going against Rahul's wishes as of now is not much expected plus the way she already has some prejudices about MauRa she will definitely try to accept the girl. Rahul being Rahul will definitely want Mauli to be friends with his gf which is gonna make her he'll awkward. Well yeah all of this let's see how it goes

Mehh…Armaan was the perfect lover. The only ones who came close to him were Mayank, Karan (YMGGK), Viren and Abhimanyu before divorce happened. Armaan was great but I liked him because I liked them as a couple (watch shows mainly for romance) because I didn’t like him with Shilpa when she was reintroduced. The whole point behind these heroes was that they loved their women till the end. Misunderstandings, fights, divorces, families etc didn’t matter to them - they just loved one woman all their life. Even if the women moved on or whatever.

I just want the girl to be normal or Rahul to organically realise he loves Mauli. But chances are less that this will be a Lavanya situation. I just don’t want a Cocktail situation. Even a Tere Liye situation will work for me. Maybe the family will accept her but she will run away or leave and Mauli will help Rahul heal. He might fall in love with her, then the girl returns, the family wants him to be with the gf (like Manas-Mauli) and he actively chooses Mauli. It would show a lot of drama, and MauRa slow burn then standing against the family.

Maybe we should be the script writers 😂

Well considering how conservative & orthodox sabha samapt Devi is she'll definitely be ok with Rahul's gf but yeah since Rahul being with this girl lower the chances of any unch beech related to MauRa she may think to make Rahul & the gf marry asap. All of this will get stronger if at all she comes to know of Mauli's love for Rahul.

I can hear her saying this in her mind after seeing MauRa together "isse pehle kuch unch neech ho Jaye Hume jaldi se jaldi Rahul aur (the gf's name) ki shaadi karani hogi" 🤣🤣

Well Rahul's gf will definitely not fit in sabja samapt Devi's ideal bahu category that's for sure. Her realising MauRa r compatible & Mauli is the kind of ideal bahu even if that happens I doubt she'll then also let go of her unch beech jaap regarding MauRa.

The little they've shown of her thoughts on this I don't think she's like totally against love marriages now but yeah in the past she was which is the reason why Manoj couldn't tell the family about his love though this doesn't make him any better but yeah this was the reason he gave.

A small correction Rahul was born in India. He was a kid when the kaand happened & Vijay & family shifted to London after which Rohit was born. So yeah they're both bred in Uk & we've already been given a lot of contrasts in their personalities & thoughts but it'll be nice to see all this play out.
