They could have been, there were hints to that during Kashmir episodes, but that quickly changed once he brought her to his house and his family made her a maid. Plus, he also behaved rude in their first interaction after the event, so she quietly put a distance saying he is a master, and she is a maid though he wanted it to be as it was before in Kashmir.

There were a few incidents that he behaved rude to her since they arrived Kolkata.

He shouted at J when she accidentally spilled food on his shirt, during dinner at a restaurant organized by Choton. He then regretted it and kept that shirt with him as memory.

Another incident - J entered his room with Apudi without knocking, when he and Arshi was having a lovey dovey moment, later he apologised.

He acted complete rude and called her a maid near the dining table. Called her and mother characterless after Shrishty told him that Rahul is her bf.

He wasn't dudh ka dhula hua all the time. His Basu genes dominated many times

Get one for her and other for J so that the latter can widen her knowledge about cleaning services overseas !
