Just to make us suspect Angad they showed him in a room with photos of Akir. That looks real creepy but I laughed when in precap he is pointing at so many photos of Akir and saying Akir dikh raha hai yahan.

Precap ain't misleading but matter had to be that serious. Sahiba simply asking Angad to rescue her child won't go down well, it had to come to a point where she thinks Akir might be dead. Ab toh they will go to identify body, body won't be Akirs but kuchh samaan milega usska toh she will cry and ask Angad to save their kid.
