Yeah the theory is stupid because the whole thing is to make Sahiba apologise to Angad and realize he isn't a bad dad to Akir, make Diljeet villain and get Akir to see Angad as a saviour. If it is Ammus dad then the topic is done. Angad doesn't have to marry her. Sahiba won't keep Angad away from Akir once he saves him, Diljeet will hate it and do something drastic.
