It’s not about PR or anything. Root cause is to create a performance based selection process (not saying first match non performance = exit). In form not selected over any regulars is a mistake (then and now) and that’s what Dhoni fixed when he came on board.

And it’s not about seniors ka exit. VK ka current form deserves a spot in team India by same standard as well.

ya when i said about the same about Dhoni , Dhoni addicts attacked me n called me garbage n Wat not . Now after 10 yrs they are saying same lol . this ipl also over hyping Dhoni , Kohli etc.. as if they are cricket ..they are past n move on , so boring . This pr thing started dhoni , now Kohli , Rohit etc.. also added .

Sharma performance in 2012,2014,2016,2021,2022 t20 wc is enough to drop him from t20 format. But his pr will never let this happen. Jaiswal gill deserves to be opener in this t20 wc but it won't happen due to sharma insecurity.

I am a fan of all of them. Sorry. But Jaiswal hasn’t clicked at all this IPL and not sure if Gill is number one pick tho he will likely be opener.

VK and Abhishek Sharma might be better. With that said RS is perfect opener as captain as he leads with a charge setting the tone for the team. I don’t think RS ka recent performances = exit. Was a different story a few year ago when he was miserably out of form and so was VK
