The point is to make Sahiba apologise to Angad for thinking he will harm her child and feel guilty that he did not know for so many years as if he wasn't to blame fully for it. No one will care about Garry beyond 2 minutes in the episode if Akir is safe. If something actually happens to Akir then Garry will get blasted.
