Anyone following Ghum ? I saw only the thumbnails and looks like they are not uploading the episode on HS or Hulu before it airs on TV. Is it allowed for the PH to not upload the episode on HS or Hulu ? If so then all the PHs should do the same na. Why give only one PH exception.

That is because they do not have an episode bank at all. The episode is not ready to upload at 6 am ist. Which is also the reason why they shot the integration episode exactly 1 day before the actual episode.

I am thinking that star plus might not wait for the ipl to end with how it’s treating imlie. Why is it even airing the show if they are so disinterested. They actually abruptly cut out the imlie-surya conversation towards the end with respect to Anjali.

Once some show is ready, they will replace it. Am pretty sure that the shooting for the other shows must have commenced.

this bus trip/road trip also, I feel is some cost cutting. They don’t have to pay the per day of the supporting cast. They just need the leads.

No I don't think so. There is no other show that is in shooting stages other than Ankit ka show with Sobo films. The thing is all PHs work with a give and take with the channel. I feel Ghum ka PH might have asked for longer episode length as the trps are falling and SP is cutting off the time of PS and Imlie to accommodate that wish. In return maybe Ghum ka PH would be okay with TMD moved to early evening slot to accommodate the new show. So this is all their give and take policy.

I feel Gul might also have a give and take for airing this shorter episode. I don't think Gul is giving up this slot which has been hers for 5+ years. She will air Imlie until her new show is ready to be launched. So maybe she too has negotiated that she will give the time off provided this slot remains hers.

Even the new show that is being launched at 6:30PM is having hardly any buzz and that is because IPL main people watch IPL only and nothing else.

Imlie will end only when Gul ka new show ka rumors start. And Gul ka Colors show is not going anywhere and that tells me Gul might be planning to do her new show on SP and she might launch it in August or Sept so till that time she will run Imlie only.

Then my suspicion is correct - Ghum might be getting these favors only to see if the trps can be sustained during the first innings of IPL. I think if the trps fall then the channel will stop this nautanki. Let's see what the numbers are for next week.

Why is this guy still yapping about the lead he replaced a month ago ? Is the falling trps the reason that now he wants some talking point so he is again going behind the replaced lead.

Sorry but with this trp Gul isn't keeping this slot. Just like ekta lost her yhc slot Gul is also going to lose this

Frankly the trps have been dropping from the time of replacement. Although the replacement did coincide with the ipl .
Also, Sachin ji, the actor playing the great grandfather on the show had mentioned in some interview recently, that the previous lead guy had better grasp on his character and was hard working. The previous guy connected i feel irrespective of his issues. He played his role with a certain delicacy I feel.

But since the new guy has come in, there has been a certain shift in his characterisation as well which probably not welcomed by the audience as well.

So I guess Rajan shahi is justifying his decision to remove the previous lead.

Ekta herself is not trying to produce anything for SP. there are rumors of Ekta doing a show for SP but they have not being confirmed. Plus in all likelihood YHC might go again for a Gen leap. Ekta has far too many shows on Zee and on Colors. Plus her franchise Naagin will launch shortly.


Gul on other hand does not have any other show on any other channel. So she definitely is not stupid to lose her only slot which has been her bread and butter for so long. There is a reason why Gul was okay with the less air time - she must have gotten something back in return,

Rajan ka 9pm ka show had 16 mins episodes for 6 - 7 weeks when Imlie and YRK were made to churn longer episodes to stabilize the trps. At that time Imlie used to consistently air 24 - 25 mins episodes every day. Even with all that BKAS ran for 3 more months before going off-air.

I am not denying there are chances of Imlie going off air. But it won’t go before IPL ends and it will definitely be replaced by a show from Gul ka PH only.

Yes this all looks like Chor ki Dadi main tinka - the trps have been falling and Rajan needs some publicity around his show so he is pushing the replaced lead again under bus. Maybe Jhanak also overtaking his show is something he is unable to digest

He also said how SP wanted to remove him n how he is not a good actor. Bhai he auditioned and you chose him. Who are you exactly trying to blame for your own decisions. Plain trying to use his name for publicity. Mere tp ke liye I will go to the yrk forum lol.
