Today’s episode was alright, we got the smallest Imlie and Surya scene in the beginning. The rest was saas bahu drama. The episode finished before it properly started, I seriously don’t like how short they are.

Mami and Nirmala can take the cake today in terms of performances. Nirmala is a cool headed villain, she even rolls her eyes when Tayyi or Imlie speak too much.

Tayyi’s scene for once wasn't bad because she wasn’t entirely wrong in what she was saying. This could’ve been a serious episode spreading awareness about domestic violence against men, but instead they made it a “pati parsmeshwar” and parvarish thing.

I was really hoping that Imlie wrote something serious on the cast, I still hope she’ll apologize to him genuinely in person. Especially since she’ll probably thank him for saving Bulbul’s rishta.

Anjali was really vibrating like a nokia phone today, she’s starting to walk into the crazy vamp territory. Granted, this was Nirmala and Malti’s ploy to keep Surya away from the house but kuch zyada pagal ho gayi yeh ladki…

Bulbul was better dressed than Imlie in today’s episode, I’m so tired of these plain outfits on our FL. She still looks pretty, I just want to see her be all fashionable again.

The precaps fine, I’m glad Imlie will keep an eye out for Nirmala’s schemes but at this point I just want her to have more scenes with Surya.

Also can Imlie and Surya share a room finally? It feels like their relationship doesn’t move forward at all these days. I want more nok jhok, more angst and more awkward cute moments.

So yesterday Ghum ka episode was 31 mins long. So we had 17 mins ka episode. And today also we have 17 mins ka episode and Ghum has most probably again a longer episode. Ghum ka increase humko utna faraq nahin karta hain jitna Ghum ka decrease karta hain. Ghum had a fall of 0.4 points and we went down. Can Gul fight for the show please. I am all okay with them closing the show after IPL ends but at least let us have 21 mins ka episode without the other show taking away our time.

Today's episode is classic case of how the episode would have been different if it was of 21 mins length. We had the episode end before we get the satisfaction of the story going somewhere.

So Imlie writes a message on Surya's sling which he does not see as he is in hurry. Imlie's family comes to the mansion with the sagaai ka samaan and all that. Sigh - Bulbul and the family were dressed. Could the creatives not give Imlie a saree - What is with this weird anarkali - Ab toh bol bol kar thak gaye hain fans.

Everyone comes in and Tayiji takes class of Imlie in front of everyone. For once I felt Jayaji acted really well. She could show the hurt of a mother and when Imlie raised fingers on her parvarish she felt really bad and today she wanted to settle the scores with Imlie ka family. And all her points were very logical and I am glad Imlie was given a good lecture. When you have the guts to serve it then you should be able to take it also.

Imlie comes to know that Tayiji and the family has come to know about the slap kaand and that Tayiji did not invite the family to have the rasam here in the house. Finally Imlie got some brains and she realized that Nirmala is playing games.

And today the drama was nice because everyone was correct at their place. I actually felt bad for Bulbul who was standing there crying. Mami tells that Imlie is not their blood and is an orphan. Tayiji says that then Surya is also not our blood but his upbringing and his parvaarish is all ours and I am proud of my son. I could feel the maan and samaan and the highest regards which Indira holds her son in. She has been hurt ever since Imlie beat Surya after the truth came out about Agastya. Even if she ignores that instance it has been one after the other - her son had to survive a bullet wound which he took to save her and now the same wife has insulted her son not once but twice. No mother will be able to take that.

Anjali calls Surya and does her drama and during the drama Surya comes to know about the message Imlie has written on the plaster. Frankly - A humble sorry would have been good. I did not understand what she wanted to say. Surya also realizes that everyone knows about the slap so he rushes home and he comes right when the groom family have walked out of the house.

CJ is the only one who is willing to give Imlie a chance and asks her if she did hit Surya and then Surya comes in and says yes Imlie did slap me. I so wish we could have had the scene continuation instead of the short episode and they could have ended with Imlie genuinely saying thanks to Surya. But nope Gul and team ko have to give their telecast time to Ghum so we have a adha adhoora episode. Whatever

Because after the integrated episode Ghum is getting 2 longer episodes of 31 mins. In yesterday's episode we had Savi and Imlie ka scene too where Imlie tells Savi that she is falling in love with Ishaan sir.

I am not sure how much channel insists on the PH to give their time slot to another show but it is clear that this integration episode was to promote Ghum more than Imlie. And the way the ML of Ghum tweeted today - it is very clear the 8PM ka show and PH are in panic mode after the huge huge drop in trps.

It feels as if they are just testing audience ka patience..

And though I try to be optimistic most days, I am just running out of any reasons to watch.. Even Sai & Addy ke liye pyaar, isn't doing it for me now..

The best part of the episode would be the precap where in Imlie is telling Tayiji that she will ask forgiveness every single day for hurting her and at the same time she tells Nirmala not to involve her family in her petty revenge game. So chalo Imlie has at least understood that Nirmala is playing games and hopefully will not fall for their tricks again.

I absolutely loved Jayaji as Indira today. The way she put forth her point of view and how bad a mother has been hurt when her son was accused by his wife and how proud she used to be of Surya before Imlie came in their lives. Yes Imlie needs to now start connecting with the family and undo the hurt she has caused this family.

Episode was so short, shuru hote hi khatam ho gaya... Nothing much happened. As we all expected, Imlie wrote a sorry on his cast (some poem she wrote jo mereko bouncer gaya) but Surya missed to see it. Anjali made some excuse and called Surya away from the house.

In the meantime, Mami and family came to the house and Tayi Amma told them about the slap incident. While I did not agree with all the points raised by Tayi ji, she was absolutely right about the slap. Felt good to hear such praise from her mouth for Surya.

From Anjali's words Surya realized his family got to know of the slap, ended up reading Imlie ka sorry on the sling and jo yeh admi bhaga hai to protect Imlie from his family's wrath.... Dil jeet lia.. Yeh aadmi kal sab theek kar dega.

It kind of felt nice to see Imlie having to face the consequences of her actions. She was embarrassed and had no answers.

Imlie apologizes to Tayi tomorrow but warns Nirmala that she has an eye on her henceforth. Koi mujhe batao love story milegi ya nahi? I think Surya will forgive her and hopefully Imlie convinces him to return to the room.

Sai looked extremely good today but was wearing the worst shirt in the history of his life. Koi please machis ki tilli de do, this deserves to be in the dumps.

I was tensed for the safety of the actors in the knife scene, it looked sharp. I am wondering how Surya is able to drive back and forth with a broken hand and also how far/ close Anjali stays ki daily shuttle kar raha hai ladka.

This entire review of the epsiode, was much much better than the actual thing honestly..

And this almost everyday ka hall drama is now irking me..

I am really glad that Ghum fell this week and hopefully this will make the PH and the makers fight for their show timing. Why can't we get the show for our scheduled time instead of the team giving out half hearted episodes.

We know that the whole thing is already filmed and then we did have some scenes of Surya in Jhopdi and I am sure we are about 2 episodes in bank. It is sadistic that the Channel is pushing other show for longer episodes. The channel needs to have faith in their shows - yeh nahin ki they make the top trp shows go longer episodes in hopes of holding on to the trps with the IPL going on.

Anyway from today onwards it is going to be election coverage along with IPL. So can the channel let the individual shows figure out instead of doing this piggy back riding. At least the fans deserve this.

I am actually looking forward to the Jhopdi scenes that are going to come up after this kaand as we are going to probably have Imlie wearing a saree(the violet one which we got BTS of) and Surya in Yellow Sherwani. I am sick of the clothes they are giving for Surya and Imlie.

Yes Surya has redeemed himself after the disaster start to his character graph where he was behind Imlie trying to harm her just to find Raghu. Now hopefully the makers will redeem Imlie too. I am glad we are getting a genuine sorry scene from Imlie to Tayiji. She needs to apologize for hurting the family members and also for hurting Surya and his feelings.
