To be honest I think yrkkh gen 4 is very different to ghum apart from basic plot execution. I like to compare current gen to kabhi alvida na kehna movie. The narration of the current gen is similar to that movie. Current gen isn't glorifying his immoral and unethical behaviour. They are setting up narrative that this disgusting behaviour ruins lives and there are dire consequences for this

There are so many shows who have this type of ml. Marrying one, dating/marrying another open ema then making him pavitra and 1 girl becoming vamp but none of the girls or family criticise him. But this doesn't match with rishta theme.........

In ghum s1 despite ml loving fl he was always on side of vamp, sympathetic towards her and balantly ignoring her kaands and mentally abusing his wife, this fetched trp for them so rishta makers wanna follow this lead.

@bold: I don't think there is any show in recent timeswhere people shipped ML and FL or they were end game where ML was two timing behind FL's back.

Udaariyan comes to mind but people stopped shipping the FL and ML. It was real pair which was loved more.

Ghum ML was sympathetic but he never crossed the line like Armaan did.

Mujhe toh ab aisa lag raha Hai that Armaan hates Rohit and has taken some sort of revenge on him. A good person would never do this to their siblings or friends.

I believe, Abhira will stay quite. The thappad ruhi got today will remind her the dire consequence both armaan & ruhi will suffer, if she reveals it to everyone & armaan's dialogue today 'cos of u, ruhi was about to get thrown out of the house', if not for ruhi & armaan, she might stay quite for vidya/madhav & manish goenka.

After rona dhona, will start detaching herself, either she will try to run away from poddar house or start talking about deal getting over & preparation of divorce.
