Wahaj didn't have a big role in many shows where he gave his best performances . A short role can effective too.

22 qadam was a 4 character story. Shot years ago. They just promoted it as Hareem Junaid when Wahaj got super popular lol. But they utilized him and gave him great scenes throughout. Just the closure lacked.

Mein was the real tragedy. The show flipped in quality so much whenever he had screen time - he was so so good. But then when they underutilized him, it was frustrating as hell. So lots of ups and downs when it came to him in Mein. I still remember post wedding in episode 9 or 10, Wahaj aced it until his second wedding. Then he got into the background again. When he was present, he made it work.

the good thing is that at least the scenes he will have in SMD, the scenes will be written well and have memorable lines. It won’t be a hurried casual formulaic crap keh bus jaisa bhi likha hai, guzaaro

Might you at any point satisfy not think about these two shows over and over with Wahaj's impending shows?

They shot for 22 qadam in 2021 and that was a female driven show, mein was an alternate case through and through. It was a slip-up on the part the writer who neglected to give dialogues and screenspace to the male lead of the show.

Which is why I added keh he could be someone else’s assistant for all we know. And that Yumna coming back and another show starting to shoot which we know wahaj is part of will be solid proof. None of what I said is “confirm” either.
