some writers take an already sad and trodden character and then put him through so much misery - back to back to back - that eventually it gets too much and audience leaves. You have to have some happiness and hope if you’re gonna put dukh dard 🤦🏻‍♀️

And saad went from unrequited love to being blamed for everything to having to see his wife with another man to almost agreeing to let her go to going through his dads death and financial crisis to 2 freakin jail trips where his wife didn’t even come to see him that one time to an allegation of attempted rape … matlab ITNA DUKH 😂

some writers are just sadists lol.

Other way around..perfect marriage revenge is a 2022 or 2023 drama. Perfect marriage revenge was tightly packed since it's only 12 episodes and the entire focus was on the main revenge story. It didn't had too many side characters. All the characters were directly involved in the main plot.

U will fast forward all the school bullying part. I cannot take those type of scenes. The actress who played the younger version of the villain is a good actress. She played a bullying victim in revenge of others and then played the bully in glory. Even though I haven't seen both dramas, i saw numerous reels on how different she was in both. I think both the dramas aired back to back as well.

Exactly... already PPL are dealing with so much in life...they watch for entertainment and not to become more sad...saad hardly had any happy moments...maheer was educated so they could have shown her taking up job to support financially rather than being cry baby...writers need to be progressive with time

Yes. Crash course in romance is good. One of the few kdramas I finished during my kdrama slump period.

Both the leads are in their 40s. There is a teen love triangle as a subplot and that's cute as well.

I love the fl of suspicious partner, nam ji hyun but it looks like she takes acting as a time pass hobby. She barely works and when she does she does miniseries or webseries which don't grab much attention. Her last proper drama was little women which I loved and after 100days my prince she didn't do any proper rom coms. She gave three back to back super hit rom coms and then took a break for two years and then only did back to back dark dramas. Her comeback drama 365 repeat the day was really good.

Apparently she is really smart and intelligent in real life. Got into a reputed SK University on merit and is a psychology major. It's very hard to get into reputed universities in South Korea on merit seats. She used to be top of her class during school days even though she was a very active and successful child artist. She also seems to get along really well with all her co-stars. She is very chill and easy going in all her BTS. Her 100 days my prince co-star kyungsoo is an exo member and a very shy guy but he was very comfortable with her in the BTS.

She did suspicious partner with ji Chang wook 7 yrs ago but their ship is still active. Some people actually believe they are dating smiley36.

Not sure about the dating part but she really looks good with wookie. smiley27. I was watching 365 days when it was airing and then left it midwaysmiley19still in my watchlist as currently watching.smiley37. Little women was good but the main FL the goblin one is not one of my favourite’s clearly she lacks in giving solid expressions. Watched 100 days my prince and didn’t knew it was such a hit? I thought it did pretty well.

I have the same problem. I cannot enjoy pak dramas while I am into kdramas. It's like two entirely different world. Kdramas are well made and even the low budget kdramas look more grand than big budget pak dramas. Also kdramas are very progressive and have non toxic male leads.

I watch pak dramas when I want to see something similar to my culture and society. Itv is not an option and Indian webseries are way too dark for my taste.

I’ll always be a bit bitter about the missed opportunity with them because their music video was so angsty and nicely done. But for some reason the vibe in MPHT remained a friends vibe and never a love interest vibe 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not sure what it was because Wahaj for sure DID bring his A game to the drama. In many scenes I felt Hania was not making eye contact. Some camera issues in a few scenes. Just a mess. An incomplete one 😞

Hania can play only extrovert, bubbly or bechari characters well. Characters like Maheer aren’t her cup of tea.

@bold- agreed, and urdu has always mesmerised me. Also pak dramas have its own modesty and the feel to it. The love is depicted in a more rephrased manner in pak dramas.

Nam ji Hyun and ji Chang wook are among my all time fav kdrama couples and the only ones I shipped after Hyungsik and Bo young smiley36. Their BTS had more chemistry than the drama itself. You should check out the BTS and uncut version of their kids from suspicious partner. Jcw was so into it smiley43

100 days my prince was a massive hit. It used to air on weekdays and still managed to get 10+ rating which is super rare for kdramas. I used to watch it while it was ongoing since I was really into exo at that time and loved nam ji hyun. At that time it used to be the highest rated weekday drama. Don't know if any drama broke thay record. The reason why lovely runner might not get big rating is that it airs on monday-tuesday. If it was a weekend drama then it would have surely broke the double digit rating if it goes on like this.
