I was disappointed with the KR scene. as you said Raji pacing while waiting for Kathir to come back from wotk, Omlette, making the bed, taking the pillow and the blanket for Kathir while he was already asleep, cleaning the table after Kathir ate were shown more than their mono syllable conversation. Why this step motherly treatment towards this pair?
He is only doing everything for her because he married her and its his duty to take care of her. Kathir gave all kinds of excises not to eat but Raji had to use Gonathi’s name to make him eat. Yet again I was surprised that he didn’t throw the Omelette on her face. Atleast previous time he didn’t know that she made the soup, thought she was reheating what his mom made before leaving to see a bride for Saravanan. But this time he probably knew Raji made it but ate quietly only because Raji used the mother sentiment card
Its been almost 2 1/2 months since they married in the show, the gap between them has only reduced by a millimeter
About Saravanan-Thangamayil scene, why are they butchering Saravanan’s character? He is coming across as a cringey and desperate to get married and romance his wife ASAP
About Meena-Senthil scene, Senthil keeps promising to support Meena but never keeps up the promise in front of Pandian. This time Merna just got scolded and warned. What if she gets suspended if she takes on important days at work because Pandian insisted and manipulated her into taking leave.
What a horrible person, Pabdian is! I want Thangamayil to teach him a lesson and show how Meena and Raji are 2 gems whom Pandian mistreats.
As for the Pandian not being there in Saturday’s episode, hope we get more such episodes in the futureIn short, KR scene was like watching old movies of other languages like Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam movies during BW era in Doordarshan, slow as heck
The coming week will all be about Saravanan- Thangamayil engagement with plenty of their cringe romance
The whole sequence seemed rushed. It's like they realized that they had no KR scenes for last week and decided to shoot something in a hurry to placate the KR audience. 
What was noteworthy in that scene other than Kathir telling Raji not to be up late waiting for him? They don't have to give them dialogues but can show that each one is aware of the other with looks, expressions, and gestures. KR scenes seem like an afterthought with this SM wedding arc.
One is a love marriage, one is an arranged marriage, and one is a forced marriage. Which one among these 3 will spark interest? Definitely the forced one. The audience will want to know how the couple will behave after the wedding and how they will get together. Why do the writers think an arranged marriage is more interesting than a forced marriage?

Pandian, the hypocrite, ididn’t have the guts to say anything to Kuzhali who is running her mouth, behaving like uncouth, uneducated, uncultured idiot, but goes around finding fault with everyone else around him.
And Gomathi, the dimwit is finding excuses to safeguard her, calling her, “ Chinna ponnu” to Meena and Raji. How is she chinna pinnu when she is 29 yrs old, married and has a girl child herself. What a horrible character she is! Why is everyone is scared of her in that house because she is the oldest of them all?
How can she even compare what her parents have given her to what Raji and Meena’s parents can do for them. Both the girls are only child, eventually they are the only heir to their parents properties. This shallow, low thinking, pathetic human being Kuzhali can only think of such pettiness. Since Raji and Meena being from a diginfied2 famoly, not giving it back to her, otherwise people like Kuzhali, Pandian don’t need any respect at all.
During the photo session, Kuzhali proved how jealous she is of her brothers and their wives, I really liked the look both Meena and Raji gave her. Both wanted to stand next to their husbands but this idiot spoiled the whole thing. And the kolam drama, pathetic is the word🙄
Why is Arasi keeping quiet looking at what’s happening and what her sister is doing? 🙄
I think Kuzhali has low self esteem and inferiority complex which is leading her to be frustrated abd taking it out in her brothers and SILs.
Gomathi calls Palanivel as one of her sons, yet she and Pandian treat him poorly, ridicule him, don’t think about his welfare. What a horrible parents these 2 are!
Finally, just like I wanted, Vels family entered the scene. I want Sakthivel to dig deep about Thangamayil and her family and keep quiet about it until after Saravanan-Thangamayil wedding happens
With the way Pandian was boasting loudly about Thangamayil’s family so Vels family can hear, soon Vels family us going to have the last laugh
I want Saravanan-Thangamayil wedding to happen at any cost. Saravanan deserves for being an idiot and blindly following hos Dad. I can’t wait for Thangamayil, her Mom, Dad, sister to teach a lesson and be rude to Pandian and Kuzhali. Both need to be brought down from their high horse. I can’t wait to see the drama unfold during this engagement and what more lies Thangamayil and her family are going to come up with to cover up their socio-economic status.
Towards the end when Pslanivel asked Kuzhali to make Pandian stop, Kuzhali immediately supported her Dad and said what he was doing was absolutely right.
Now I agree, find Meena much better than Kuzhali, Gomathi, Thangamayil and Bhagyam Ofcourse Vels family ladies are my favorites that includes Raji, Vadivu, Maari and Kanthimathi

Raji looked like a million bucks today in that saree, make-up, hair and jewelry. Kathir definitely looked smitten by Raji for a minute there but the guy knows how to cover it up Raji too turned her face with an attitude when he looked elsewhere after the brief eyelock
Both didn’t mind standing next to each other for the picture but Kuzhali spoiled it for them🙄
Hopefully we will get to see the group pictures as a scene after the engagement in Thangamayil’s house where KR are standing next to each other. I don’t want Kuzhali to spoil it yet again

I agree the scene was an afterthought, added in the last minute. They did not know what to show, hence came up with this shoddy writing.
I had an arranged marriage and not against it. But my marriage was not based in lies like tgey are showing with Saravanan-Thangamayil. How are the writers going to justify all those lies and yet to prove that arranged marriage is the best one. Even if they show they are the best couple with all the parental support, but don’t the writers realize that Gomathi ruined KR’s life by getting them married forcefully by emotionally manipulating them? Gomathi herself is a stupid woman sho doesn’t think of the consequences, yet very fearful of Pandian, did a great i justice to both Kathir and Raji. When the truth comes out, who is going to look like a fool? Ofcourse, Gomathi. Just like how Raji questioned her few episodes back, her parents are going to ask them the same thing. Why didn’t Gomathi drop Raji at her parents place instead of getting her married to Kathir. Gomathi at this time comes across as heartless by letting Kathir-Raji face all the consequences of her actions while acting as if she has nothing to do with their marriage. She absolutely has no guilt. Both of them have to get brickbats from lowlives like Pandisn, Kuzhali and Thangamayil’s Mom, Bhagyam. This is just pathetic writing🙄
I am all for KR separating in the future and coming back together on their own terms and not forced to unite by others.
So actress who played Maari has been changed. Rehana as Maari was good bit didn’t look like Kumaravel’s mother, rather looked like his sister. This new actress looks like Kumaravel’s mother. Hope she plays the exact same way as Rehana. Anyway I get excited when I see Vels family onscreen. There is a reason why they have kept Pandian on his spot, else he would act as if he is the God.
Is there anyway the writers can scrap Kuzhali’s character also ? She is not needed at all because, Pandian, Thangamayil and her family are good enough to play the villains in this show
